Heritage Acres got to enjoy some fun in the sun at HITS Ocala Weeks 9 and 10. Not only did we have beautiful weather but we had an amazing time in and out of the ring! We are so thankful to be able to do what we love!

We are very proud of all of our horses and riders achievements!

Here are a few of the results and highlights if interested 🙂

Gold and Kate Gooden- Champion .80, Champion .90, Reserve Champion week 9, .90 and Champion 1.0 Junior Jumper week 10, as well as Circuit Reserve Champion in the .90.

Magnum Van ‘Theike and Natalie Arroyo- Champion .65 Jumper and moved up to the .80 in one week with never riding him before and he got to come home with us!

Huinen and Kathryn Gooden- Reserve Champion 1.0 Open Jumper week 9 and 6th in the NAL Classic Champion 1.10 Junior Jumper Champion week 10.

Dempsey and Ava Heishman- Reserve Champion .90 Junior Jumper week 9 and Champion .90 Junior Jumper week 10.

Zurvivor C and Tessa Carlino- .80 Champion week 10 as well as successful rounds in the .65 Jumpers… welcome back Z!

Linus B and Carolyn Anner- Nice rounds in the Pre Child/Adults with a win in the flat and Champion USHJA 2’ with Kendall Kauffman.

Millstreet VDO and Katherine Bartoli- 3rd in the Low Classic. Pre Child/Adult Champion and 10th in the Bit O Straw Derby. He was also Champion in the Baby Greens with Kendall Kauffman.

Visionary and Tessa Carlino - Champion in the USHJA 2’6” as well as trips in the 3’6” Greens with Kendall Kauffman.

Bluestocking and Sophia Cocores - 1st in the Pony Hunter Classic, Champion Large Schooling Pony and Reserve Champion Large Pony Hunter.

Let’s Do This and Fiona Stoltzfus- Champion Short Stirrup Hunter as well as ribbons in the Short Stirrup Eq. and Younger sister Chloe rocked the Leadline Class!

Beste Thyme and Kennedy Schaffner- 2nd in the Bit O Straw Derby and 3rd in the Low Childrens Classic as well as good rounds in the Low Childrens. Also had great ribbons with Kendall Kauffman in the Training Hunter and Baby Greens.

Capone and Claudia Courtney- 7th and 5th in the USHJA National Jr/Am Derby, 7th and 10th in the A/O Classic consecutive weeks! Kendall Kauffman also showed in the 3’3” Greens.

Hallelujah and Tessa Carlino- 10th in the USHJA National Jr/Am Derby, 6th and 7th in the Jr Classic consecutive weeks! Kendall Kauffman also rode in the 3’6” Greens with great results.

Jordan and Kara Hays- Debuted in the .80 jumpers and had some good trips out of competitive group of younger 3’3” A/Os.

Fabiola W and Janet Jenkins- Great results in the Modified Children's and Children's Olders.

Chevron MCF and Elizabeth Pasqualini- Lots of ribbons out of big groups in the .65 and .80 Jumpers.

Exonerate and Sophia Cocores- Successfully completed their first show over fences together in the USHJA 2ft and Kendall Kauffman had great trips in the Training Hunter.

Kara Hays’ Biscotto and Kendall Kauffman- Top placings in a large group of Training Hunters and smooth trips in the Baby Greens.

It was a busy weekend for Heritage Acres starting at Swan lake on Friday for the A/Os and the Juniors, a home show on Saturday and then the first round of horses heading to Florida on Sunday! It was an exciting week at WEC Ohio Week 9! The divisions were large and our horses, riders and staff didn’t miss a beat! It takes a village and we have a great one! Congratulations to all 23 of our horses, they were perfect and came home with top ribbons and had tons of fun! We are so proud!

💙 Quaid- Champion Low Adult Hunter with owner Jane Van Allen and Champion USHJA 2’6’ with Kendall Kauffman out of 39. Quaid was also 4th in the Non Pro 2’6” Derby.

💙Lets Do This- Champion 11 and under 2ft Equitation and a second in the Short Stirrup O/F and 8th in the classic with owner Fiona Stoltfuz.

💙My Turn- Champion Younger Children's Hunter Horse winning 3 out of 5 classes and 1st in the Classic with Alexis Wolf.

💙Farnley Brigantine- Champion in the Small/Medium Hunter Pony and 2nd in the classic with Maddy Wolf.

💙Gold- Champion Intermediate Junior/Amateur Jumper and a 1st in the Classic with owner Kathryn Gooden.

💙Hallelujah- Reserve Champion in the 3’6” Junior Hunter and 4th in the Classic with owner Tessa Carlino.

💙Bluestocking- Reserve Champion in the Large Pony Hunter, 9th in the classic and 5th in the Pony Hunter Derby with Sophia Cocores.

💙Twilight Edition- Reserve Champion in the Small/Medium Childrens Hunter Pony and a win in the classic with Liliana Malkawi

💙Linus B- Reserve Champion in the 2ft Limit Hunter and 1st in the Classic with Carolyn Anner and good ribbons out of 24 in the USHJA Hunter 2ft with Kendall Kauffman

💙Harry Otter- 1st O/F in the Large Childrens Pony and a 9th in the Classic with owner Nora Eppley.

💙Dempsey- 2 Blue Ribbons in the .80 jumpers as well as a 3rd in the Classic with owner Ava Heishman

💙Candy Crush- 2nd out of 24 O/F in the USHJA 2ft and good ribbons in the Large Childrens Pony including a 2nd Undersaddle with Braelyn Albright

💙Huinen- Blue Ribbon in the Low Schooling Jumper 1.0m with Kendall Kauffman and Good Ribbons in the Junior Jumper 1.10 with Kathryn Gooden as well as a Blue in the Medium schooling Jumper 1.10m

💙Capone- Good rides in the Amateur Owner Hunter and a 2nd in the Undersaddle with owner Claudia Courtney. They were also 6th in the Classic as well as the 3ft THIS Adult Medal.

💙Visionary- 1st in the in the Older Children’s Hunter Horse U/S and 11th in the classic with owner Tessa Carlino as well as 1st U/S and ribbons over fences in the 3ft WEC Hunter with Kendall Kauffman .

💙Chawn- Good rides and ribbons in the Adult Amateur’s and a 9th in the classic with owner Mindy Lynch as well as good ribbons in the 3ft greens with Kendall Kauffman.

💙Stole The Show- 7th in the Pony Hunter Derby, top ribbons out of a competitive group in the Medium Pony Hunter and 5th in the classic with owner Stella Zaccheo. They were also 2nd in the Intermediate Child Equitation.

💙Jumpman- 12th in the USHJA 3ft National Derby Non-Pro, top ribbons in every jumping class of the Adult Amateur’s, and 7th in the classic and with owner Kara Hays.

💙Fabiola W- Good rides in the Older Childrens Horse including a 2nd in the Undersaddle and a 12th in the Classic with owner Janet Jenkins.

💙Beste Thyme- 7th in the 2’6” Non-Pro Derby, good ribbons in the Low Childrens Horse with Kennedy Schaffner. Kendall Kauffman had amazing trips and ribbons in the baby greens.

💙Biscotto- Good Ribbons in the Baby Green Hunters with Kendall Kauffman for owner Kara Hays. They also earned ribbons in 3 classes of the USHJA 2’6” out of 39 Competitors!

💙Exonerate- 6th out of 38 and a 3rd in the undersaddle of the USHJA 2ft and 5th undersaddle in the USHJA 2’6” with Kendall Kauffman for owner Emily Cocore

While temps were freezing last week Heritage Acres was enjoying some indoor riding at WEC Ohio Winter Classic #6!

🥶Claudia Courtney and Capone were Handy Winners in the Amateur Owner 3’3” Youngers and 6th in the USHJA nation Hunter Derby 7th in the THIS Adult Medal

🥶Tessa Carlino and Madagascar were Reserve Champion in the Large Pony Hunter and USHJA Pony Hunter Derby Winner!!

🥶Tessa Carlino and Hallelujah 10th in the USHJA National Hunter Derby and 5th in the Junior/Amateur Owner Hunter Classic 3’6” 3rd in the Maclay 3’6” and 3rd Dover USEF Hunter Seat Medal 3’6”
