We have the right to refuse sales to anyone at any time. BREEDIING LOANS:
Rooted In Reptiles offers two breeding loan options, single and lifetime. In order to use the breeding loan option the animal must be produced by Rooted In Reptiles and must not have left our facility. ***Rooted In Reptiles reserves the right to refuse any breeding loan request at any time for any reason. By entering into a breeding loan you are agreeing to all of the rules listed below in the breeding loan descriptions as well as in the disclosure.***

One time breeding: For this breeding loan option a buyer can request that the purchased animal stays with Rooted In Reptiles to be bred for the upcoming season. Upon breeding the animals if the animal proves male the loan is immediately terminated and the animal will be shipped to the purchaser without the animal breeding and no offspring are owed to the owner of the male animal. If the animal proves to be female the animal will stay with Rooted In Reptiles until giving birth to the litter. Rooted In Reptiles will receive pick of the litter, to cover the cost of keeping the loaned animal and produced offspring to a shippable size and extra shipping supplies, as well as half of the remaining offspring to cover our half of the loan/ stud fee. The remaining offspring after our initial pick will be chosen in a back and forth fashion until all the remaining animals are then split evenly. If there is only one baby produced the baby is awarded to Rooted In Reptiles and nothing is owed to the owner of the female on loan. Rooted In Reptiles will then raise all of the produced offspring to a size that they can be safely shipped to the owner of the female on loan. All of the owners animals including the female on loan will then be shipped back to the owner in a single shipment. If the owner sells the animals prior to shipping we will not distribute those animals in other shipments. All the animals will be sent to the owner at the price of shipping just the loaned animal. Rooted In Reptiles is not responsible for any medical bills that may arise as a result of injuries sustained from breeding if the owner refuses to cover the medical bills the animal is then forfeited and is then owned by Rooted In Reptiles! There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule! These are lizards and very rough breeders so the owner of the loaned animal is the one accepting the risk of these injuries or even death as a result of breeding. If an animal is maimed during breeding the animal will be held until it is in suitable condition to be shipped to the owner or it will be euthanized if necessary. The owner of the loaned animal assumes this risk by entering a breeding loan. Rooted In Reptiles is only responsible if an animal is injured or dies as a direct result of improper care or neglect. The owner of the loaned animals assumes all risks and medical bills associated with the breeding loan. If the owner wishes to pull their animal from a loan before the animal is bred the animal is shipped without a fee for holding the animal. Once an animal is bred the owner is locked into the breeding loan until the litter is born and the animals are ready to be shipped. ***By entering into a onetime breeding loan agreement you are agreeing to all of the rules listed above. Rooted In Reptiles reserves the right to change any loan agreement or terminate any loan at any time for any reason.***

Lifetime breeding loan: Rooted In Reptiles also offers a lifetime breeding loan option. These spots are reserved for females only! The animal on the lifetime loan must have been produced by us and must still be at our facility! We will not take other females in from outside of our facility due to the health risk posed to our animals. Rooted In Reptiles will then keep the female for its entire life breeding it every season until it is at an age where it can no longer breed successfully. We will receive pick of every litter produced to cover all of our costs associated with keeping and maintaining the animals health to include but not limited to; medical bills, medications, food, bedding, and housing. We will then pick the remaining animals from each litter in a back and forth fashion until all of the remaining litter mates are chosen. These litter mates will then each season be shipped back to the owner of the loaned animal. We will not under any circumstances distribute these animals to other people if they are sold prior to being shipped to the owner. Rooted In Reptiles is not responsible for any medical bills that may arise as a result of injuries sustained from breeding. The owner of the loaned animals assumes all risks associated with the breeding loan. If an animal dies as a direct result of improper care on the part of Rooted In Reptiles the owner will then have their ownership transferred to another animal of equal value from a couple options given or they will receive a full refund for the amount paid for the loaned animal. Rooted In Reptiles reserves the right to choose which option is given. If an animal dies from natural causes Rooted In Reptiles will not under any circumstances be held accountable or responsible for the death or value of the loaned animal. Rooted In Reptiles has the right to end a lifetime loan at any point in time for any reason. If a termination of the loan happens the loaned animal will be shipped to the owner along with any offspring that belong to the owner. If the owner wishes to pull their animal from a loan before the animal is bred the animal is shipped without a fee. Once an animal is bred the owner is locked into the breeding loan until the litter is born and the animals are ready to be shipped. ***By entering into a lifetime breeding loan agreement you are agreeing to all of the rules listed above. Rooted In Reptiles reserves the right to change any loan agreement or terminate any loan at any time for any reason.***

***DISCLOSURE***
Rooted In Reptiles is not responsible for an animal once it is confirmed to be received alive and well! The buyer is responsible for signing for the animal on the FIRST drop off attempt. If the animal is not signed for on the FIRST drop off attempt our live arrival guarantee is void. We do not offer an extended health guarantee due to the fact that once the animal is out of our care we cannot guarantee the animal is being properly cared for despite our best efforts to help the customer. We are also not responsible for any illnesses such as salmonella that may be contracted from any of our animals or insects! We recommend thorough hand washing BEFORE AND AFTER handling any animals. You do not want to get the animal sick and you don't want to raise your risk of ingesting a potentially harmful bacteria or illness! These are reptiles and amphibians and it is COMPLETELY normal for them to carry salmonella as it is a natural part of their digestive system. Almost ALL reptiles and amphibians carry salmonella and there simply has not been a way to prove that an animal does not have salmonella as the testing is unreliable. By sending payment for an order or by entering into a breeding loan you agree to the terms listed above in this disclosure and breeding loan descriptions.
