🐎5 week childrens beginner lesson course Dinwiddie VA🐎

One private hour each week for 5 weeks
(no age limit, but ages 6 and up are best)

We offer Beginner riding lessons focusing on safety, confidence building, horse care, saddling, and other aspects of horsemanship. We will give your beginner a love of the horses and the skills to move forward to pursue other forms of riding.

●Start week - October 1st

$400 for ENTIRE 5 weeks
$100 non-refundable deposit due at booking
$300 cash due the first day of lessons

Friday - 4-5 PM & 5:30-6:30

●Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and will roll into the next scheduled lesson. Bad weather or wet arena will cause lessons to roll over as well.

●Helmets MUST be worn. Please bring your own for the right fit, but we have some as well! Must wear long jeans (stretchy and comfortable). Closed toe shoes only. Please wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle.

We have a gazibo to sit under with a restroom and a fridge full of waters as well.

I havent introduced myself on here so I thought id finally do it!!

My name is Paige, I am 30 years old and have been riding horses most of my life. Although I grew up in the suburbs of Dinwiddie County since 2003, I always found my way to a barn to ride my family & friends horses, and take lessons close by. Alot of my family lives out West and owns horses, so I was always jealous that they had horses but not me!! Horses were first on my Santa list every single year!!!

My Husband and I bought our first farm house in 2016 and I finally had my very own horse! I learned alot since then - Owning horses has been such a wild , amazing and fun journey. Teaching our daughter how to ride and watching her fall in love with horses was even more amazing.

In 2020 we moved into our new farm house, we started building up the farm in 2021 and in 2022 I started Sunset Stables LLC. My daughter Josie and I are now teaching Beginner Horse Lessons and have Pony Ride Events for the public and we are having a blast 🐴

We have three of the sweetest horses, two of them being lesson horses. I am very thankful to my friends for the horses I have on my farm today!

Glory is a 22 year old Bay Morgan Gelding, that I met in 2016 and finally brought home in 2019. Glory gets mistaken for a mare all the time because of his name but he wants everyone to know hes a handsome young gelding 😉 (cant forget young). Glory loves to trot, We use him often for the older kiddos to learn how to post. He plays tag and will follow you anywhere!

Zoro is a 27 year old Palomino Tennessee Walking Gelding that I have known since 2010. He came to our property in 2022. Zoro is the best horse ever, he roams the yard all day and does some awesome tricks! He has done it all and is the perfect speed for the littles.

Buttermilk is an 8 year old Quarter Horse Buckskin Mare that I got for my daughter in 2020. We have used her for lessons some, but her & Josie are stuck like glue. She will lick you to death and is sweet & sour.
