***ANNOUNCEMENT*** We’re excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for appointments to our public spay and neuter clinic. We have 100 appointments available, and appointments will fill up quickly. Please make sure to read all of the requirements on our Spay and Neuter Services page to ensure you qualify. Our public spay and neuter clinic is open to residents of Contra Costa County.

BABY BIRDS NEED YOU!: We are in the midst of peak baby animal season here at the Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital, and are in dire need of volunteers who are able to come to the hospital and help feed baby birds in the evenings until we tuck them in for the night at 8 p.m. You could begin assisting with baby bird care as early as 3 p.m. or as late as 6 p.m.

Interested? We will provide baby bird care and feeding training on Saturday, August 6 at 1 p.m., and there will be mentors to help get you up to speed.

Requirements:
- Must be 16 years or older
- Must be able to volunteer for a regular weekly evening shift, for 3 out of 4 weeks per month between now and September 15
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (with a minimum of one booster), and willing to wear a mask for the entire shift
