Here’s something new!! Brome and Oat hay! These bales out of Monte Vista are Brome grass, sewn with Oats, Italian Rye, and Beardless Wheat. This combo makes for a higher protein forage without legumes. The presence of grains still on the head add extra calories and nutrients.

Heads up my Divide Feed customers. Recently a customer had an altercation with the owner of Pump Services (Black Mountain Pump Services, not Black Mountain Drilling). Apparently he was very angry and threatening that a customer came down the old north entrance near the water station on county road 5. He was reported to be very hostile. So please do not use the old north entrance but come to the front entrance to the south, down Buffalo Ct. I don’t need anybody else getting the wrath of an angry human running Black Mountain Pump Services. Again not the same as Black Mountain Drilling.

Oh the weather outside is frightful. but in here it’s so...well...also frightful, just a different kind 😅 But we are pretty darn delighted to be hard at work this afternoon making small bales so you can get stocked up this weekend! And remember, our small bales of grass are just 21¢ a pound for the rest of May (that means the 55lb bales we have right now are only $11.50 each)
