This cutie pie is on his way to Idaho! We can’t wait to hear how he flourishes in his new home!

This athletic 3 year old gelding will be sure to work his heart out for you! This 14hh gelding has 50 days of riding on him, and has not had his legs rode off. As a weanling, he was exposed to tarps, and general desensitization, with two rides on him late in his two year old year then he was turned out to grow a bit.

Currently, he can W/T/L both directions, side pass, open gates, trailer, tie and bathe. He is trying really hard to use his body to stop, and get those big turns we all ooh and ahh over. This guy is one who needs a job, and wants to work hard for his person. Someone is going to be getting one heck of a deal on this guy. His sire alone has NCHA Earnings of over $437,015. This guy is genuinely bred for greatness!

Good morning Facebook crew.

As many of you know, after stepping out of the karate world, I jumped in head first back into the horse showing realm of my life. With that being said, the place I board in woodland puts on AWESOME shows through the year.

These shows give riders of multiple age ranges and experience levels the opportunity to test the waters with showing, learn, gain new skills, and grow in their sport. They built a community during COVID, and created a family that continually branches out and try new things.

In order to keep these shows going, we need sponsors to help us fund these events. These funds go to things like awards, paying our judges, and paying for the facilities and upkeep so the shows can continue to be run.

Please take a look below if this is something that would interest you, OR, your business. We have great turnout at our events, and this is a great way to advertise!

This little VRH horse is showing his versatility with success in the ranch classes and local Western Pleasure pen.

WOOOOWEEE Who doesn’t love a freshly revamped arena??

Thank you , Courtney Bish, and Curtis Bish for completely redoing the indoor arena, and Ms Jane for providing us with new sand!

We haven’t posted in awhile, but we’ve been extremely busy at work building our program, moving facilities, and getting things together to roll into the new year better than ever.

We have moved facilities and are officially located in Dixon, CA.

We came off of a successful season, and we are looking to build and have an even bigger year!

I feel this poem now, more than ever, but my old man is still worth his weight in gold 🌵💕 for those that have met Silver, you know he’s a dime a dozen.

“I kept my horse”

We rode many miles, won many shows, and we spent hundreds of hours side by side.
Now you’re old, you’re retired, and you’re my old man.

I kept my horse when he went lame- every damn time.

I kept my horse when I fell off - it wasn’t his fault anyways.

I kept my horse when I thought it shouldn’t be this hard- I didn’t know that’s how I would learn.

I kept my horse when he told me he couldn’t be ridden anymore - because I know compassion.

I kept my horse when I moved away for college and struggled with time- because he’s family.

I kept my horse when I was broke- because sometimes times are tough.

I kept my horse when he couldn’t jump high and run fast because I could see that he still would try if If I asked but he shouldn’t.

I kept my horse when I bought a new one- 3 actually, because he’s irreplaceable.

I kept my horse when I wished I had room for one that was sound- because I owe it to him.

I kept my horse when he was costing me more money to feed then any of my riding horses, because money isn’t everything.

When his legs had enough- and all he could bare to carry was his own weight, I still kept my horse.
When his career as a riding horse was over- I knew I had to keep my horse.

No one owes this horse a retirement except for me, and shame on anyone who selfishly convinces themselves otherwise. I owe him so much more for what he has done for me, but I plan to try and make it up to him when he has nothing more to offer me.
