Open from 9AM - Noon and from 3:00 Pm to 6:00 PM for drop off and pick ups .Lakeside Pet Resort has luxury suites for every dog, every dog staying at Lakeside will be clean, dry and safe; we provided elevated bed with fleece covers, dining bowls, T.V. Each suite has a doggy door to a private patio.

** UPDATE : This is not HWY 28 is Hwy 17 by Waynesville, (Pic for attention) also the Hwy 28 is not as congested BUT I-44 to Hwy 28 is really bad - The closure said 24 hrs., so this will be all day!

🛑🛑 Lakeside Friends Be aware Hwy 28 is very congested with traffic!

Looks like the closure of the I-44 is making all the traffic turn on HWY 28
Please plan accordingly!

Pease be safe and if needed your dog can stay another day please let us know!

Our sweet Ben left this earth 💔 His departure was a shock for everyone, his family and us; we were actually expecting them this week 🥺
He was a grumpy sweet man, always very serious, but inside he was a teddy bear 🥰 He tolerate the snow,. but hated the rain, if drops were coming down, he ran back inside 🥹 , but bath time was his favorite thing, he will lay in the tub and enjoyed the warm water 😄 We will miss this sweet soul, his sister Mable has been under the weather too, said a prayer for her that her health improve soon.
His dad send us the last picture, Ben and Wilbur his other brother, they were super cute puppies, that grew up together, and now they meet again at the rainbow bridge 🐾🌈💔 God speed big boy, we will all miss you!

When dreams come thrue

For many years we have lived our lives with a passion for dogs. Whether they are our own, strays we found roaming the street or rescued from shelters, they all became a part of our collective lives. Several years ago we saw a need to help the thousands of dogs who died in California shelters find a new life with rescue organizations in other states. We began to offer a service to transport dogs to Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho and Montana. We were only able to offer this service one or two weekends a month as both both had full time jobs.

The entire time we were helping these dogs we kept dreaming of a day when we could devote all of our time to working with dogs. When we discovered an opportunity to become owners of Lakeside Boarding Kennels we knew we had found what we were looking for. We couldn't be happier and more excited to be taking over the best boarding kennel around.
