Many of you through the horse world in our area now Mr. Jerry Dublin of West Paducah, Ky. He has owned and operated Willoway Stables for many years. Sadly Sunday evening he discovered his beautiful stable on fire! Fortunately he was able to rescue the 6 horses stabled inside! But he lost everything in the way of equipment, feed, hay, etc. Several people have stepped forward and offered a helping hand. Please feel free to contact Jerry if you feel you can help in any way!

What a great night for a horse show. Big thanks to all the volunteers and officials for ensuring everything went smoothly. We had a great crowd and very talented riders to root for. Overall, it was a fun time on a beautiful fall night. To everyone that came, thank you! !

UDATE FOR HOPKINS COUNTY MADISONVILLE FAIR HORSE SHOW TONIGHT @ 6:00 P.M.

Please be mindful of those working the entry gate as to parking- there are a few areas that are still a little soft and we don't want anyone to get hung up. The same goes for warming up your horses- please be mindful that there are still some softer areas. Overall, the grounds and ring are in good condition, but we wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Please note the following Academy classes have been added:
17A- Academy Equitation 8 & Under (W/T)
18A- Academy Pleasure 8 & under (W/T)
20A (after intermission)- Academy Equitation 17 & Under (W/T/C)
21A- Academy Pleasure 17 & Under (W/T/C)

An updated show bill reflecting these changes will be available.

Please keep the Green family in your prayers folks. We've been informed that Frances passed away this evening. This great lady was an inspiration to so many horse enthusiasts of any age or skill, that it's sometimes hard to remember she was also a wife, a mother and grandmother. She will be missed by so many.

I'll be sure to post her arrangements here once I find out about them. Stay tuned...

Friends, I have some news to share tonight that is not easy to hear. Most everyone associated with the club is aware that one of our founders, Frances Green, has been fighting a brave battle with cancer for the past few years. Last night, Tommy and I found out that her battle is approaching it's final days. Tommy spoke with Frances earlier this evening, and she asked us to let the horse community know of her condition. Her last treatment of chemo was unsuccessful and she was told nothing more could be done. She is at home now under the care of hospice. Tommy said she was in her typical good spirits and was very happy to hear from us. She is having a minor procedure tomorrow and cautioned us that she may be too tired to entertain phone calls or visits for a day or two, other than that we got the impression that she would welcome any phone calls, maybe a visit or two. When we asked what we could do to help, she asked that we help sell any remaining equipment from her stable. I will put together a list of items with her asking prices and post it for her in a couple of days. Please share this post to get the word out to as many of her equine friends and associates as possible. I will send out any updates on her condition as I receive them.

Frances, if you see this post, I just want to say you are a wonderful lady and I can't thank you enough for all the work you've done for the horse community in Western Kentucky and for this club for the past 30 years. Thank you so much for your support. You have my love, respect and appreciation!! God Bless you, Crystal
