Say hello to Trooper - our newest little employee! This brave kitten came from camp companion needing some medical TLC. He needed his leg and tail amputated,but has lots of love left to give. We knew we couldn't part with this little bundle of love! Bubbles is happy to accept her new little brother and partner-in-crime!

Meet our new veterinarian!

Dr. Ashley LeBrun grew up near Lonsdale, MN. She completed her undergraduate coursework at Minnesota State University, Mankato and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. In addition to dogs and cats, she enjoys working with cattle, goats, sheep, and other livestock. She’s excited to join our team as a mixed animal veterinarian!

Outside of work, you’ll find her tending to her hobby farm. She has a couple dairy cows, trained steers, nubian goats, and sebastopol geese. She also has a lab mix named Lady and 2 cats named Boots and Socks.

Found cat: this handsome intact male cat was found early morning on 7/19 in West Concord area. He’s a friendly cat and was not found with a collar.

One of the most dangerous pet toxins we see every summer is blue-green algae (cyanobacteria). The most challenging part about this toxin is that it’s not always easy to spot toxic vs. non-toxic algae in water sources. It’s safest to keep your dog on a leash as you examine the water & if you spot any questionable discoloration, both you & your dog should stay away – don’t take any risks! Instead, promptly report the concern to the city or county so the water can be properly tested & others in the community can be warned!
