Minnesota French Spaniels : Got my two bird limit and then went hunting with the camera. You don't need to be a hunter to enjoy working a dog in the field. We get great joy out of watching them work and lock up a bird without carrying a gun! It is what they are born to do. So much fun! Got two videos and a still to share with you.

Got our 11 month old Mandy out for her first hunt of any kind . The Grouse hunting experience is a wonderful experience. So peacefulin the woods.
She started out pointing tweety birds and transitioned into finding grouse. They sure learn fast! Can you see the grouse she is pointing. Those grouse really blend in.

Up in northern Minnesota grouse hunting. Claire had a battle with a porcupine and lost đŸ˜Ģ☚ī¸đŸ˜” She was awesome. Kept hunting all the way back to the truck. Luckily got right in to see a vet! Big Fork Veterinary is Awesome. Small town operation with a personal touch!

Here is Ginger ... a five month old pup we sent to California getting ready for her NAVHDA Natural Ability Test. She is a go getter and is scheduled to take the test at a young age. I think she will do great!
Ginger responds well to Wayne's enthusiastic /positive training methods as all French Spaniels do! We will follow up with a couple more videos of this awesome pup and look forward to seeing her results on the NAVHDA test. Stay tuned .... Just added a search and a beautiful point from Ginger.
