Florida Bee yard South. I consider minor compared to what some people had to deal with, most of my hives are still standing straight up. We had a little damage to the Bee barn and extracting room. I feel blessed as it could’ve been much worse. Praying for the ones that were.

A neighbor posted this on Nextdoor and I it looked like a good idea.
Toilet hack if you are in the “no flush” area! Put a stretchy (or very large) garbage bag in and around toilet bowl (duct tape it in place if you can). Put another temporary bag in, and if you have cat litter, put a little bit in there to absorb moisture. Once it gets full or gross, pull out the temporary bag and tie it up and put it in your garbage bin outside. Replace the temp bag and litter, etc.

This will probably be our last market in South Carolina until the state fair in October. Come out and see us and get all your products of the Hive. Stock up, It’s getting late in the season.  Local Honey will still be available at the market for a few weeks on Saturday from local Bee Keeper Ken Leach.

Shady Creek Bee Farm will be at the Greenwood, farmers market Saturday morning at 0700 through noon. Getting towards the end of the season come get all your favorite products of the Hive before the market closes in October.
