Big change for the baby Bernedoodles today! Moving from the “baby room” to the “potty training room” is a huge shift for them to get accustomed to.
We are eating puppy food softened.
We are going outside for the first time.
We are trying to figure out the doggie door.
We are starting to show our personalities and play with toys.
No bottles today! Hallelujah 🙌

I was able to snap a few action shots today but of course it was cold and rainy today 😫
***Their momma did get to come home Friday, but unfortunately she has some major healing to do. I am keeping the puppies completely separate from their momma bcse it will create more chaos and crying than either of us can handle right now. We are going to give her 2 weeks to heal and try to get some of her strength back before we reintroduce.

Playtime as a 3 week old! In this video you can see Pink, Yellow, and Red collars. It only lasts for maybe 10 mins,usually after they eat, and then they pass out.

It’s been a week ago today that the nightmare started with Addie. She’s my Standard Poodle and mom to my current litter of Bernedoodles. She has had 2 surgeries now, 1 to remove several things from her stomach and intestinal tract and 2 to repair a intussusception which resulted in removing over a foot of her intestines. KEEP IN MIND she has 11 2.5 week old puppies at home which I am now hand raising. Round the clock feeds, p**p p**p p**p 😒, trying to teach them to lap up puppy food, and they just plain ol miss their momma 😢. This side of breeding isn’t for the weak! Most nights there is no sleep and some nights I can catch a couple hours. Imagine trying to feed bottles to 11 human babies! Once u get done with the last one it’s almost time to go bck to the 1st one again.
Anywho…I know this is a long post but I wanted to be transparent and remind people that having puppies isn’t always rainbows and puppy breath! And also shoutout to everyone at Hughes Animal Hospital for taking good care of my girl and sending “proof of life” photos when I request them (I’m a visual person) 😂. Say a small prayer for Addie and that she continues to get better and for Darren and I as we navigate parenthood.

These 2 have developed quite the bond. She (black girl) is the big sister to him (parti colored boy) in size and personality.

🩷She is very independent, never talks back, and weighs in at 17lbs!
🩵He is a follower. Of humans and all the other dogs. He will voice his dislike of something and weighs in at 13lbs.
💟Both of them will sell their soul to the devil for a treat.
