Big news! 🐱 Carl and Dexter have found their forever home! Their new mom saw them on the front page of the newspaper and instantly fell in love! 💕 Thanks to the amazing Seniors for Seniors program, these two sweethearts are ready to enjoy their golden years together, bringing love and cuddles to their new family. Let's wish them all the happiness in the world! 🐾✨"

YOUR ANIMALS NEED A WARM PLACE TO BE OVER THE NEXT 3 DAYS! If you have outside cats and would like to borrow one of these totes (fill up with straw), come see us Monday or Tuesday morning. We only have 3 left but we'll find more if the need arises.
If you have outside dogs THEY NEED TO COME INSIDE! Come borrow a crate if you need to use it INDOORS (if they are not house broken).

It is forecast to be in the 20s, to sleet, and possibly snow. It's not acceptable for dogs to be chained up outside.

We are overjoyed to say we have had a phenomenal Saturday. We love Mr. Glenn (one of our beloved volunteers)! He is fostering Aussie, the sweetest little 12 yr old lady you have ever met. Baja Blast's new parents drove all the way from Alabama to meet her, and they fell in love with this beautiful girl. Pheasant, with her laid-back, quiet personality and charming underbite, also won over her new Mom's heart.

TWO great reasons to celebrate today! First, Baby went to a foster home (photo below shows our volunteer Chloe getting him brushed up to meet his new foster mama).

And second, Quail went home with one of our previous adopters. Quail met her two new doggie brothers and loved them (and they approved of her too)!

Both of these matches were just perfect, and we couldn't be happier for Baby and Quail.

We would like to give a huge shout out to whomever sent us dog food through Chewy. We wish Chewy would give us names so we could properly thank our donors (after all, it's what a good Southern rescue does!). So instead we must just say:
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

And along the same lines, whomever left us a gigantic bag of Purina Dog Chow in our donation bin at the Piggly Wiggly: THANK YOU TOO!

Our dogs appreciate the love!

**UPDATE- Both of these ladies have had a great birthday week. Aussie is being fostered and Baja Blast was adopted!
-Today we are celebrating 2 pups birthdays!
When Aussie came to us yesterday we were too wrapped up in her adorableness to post that it was her birthday. So join us in wishing Aussie a belated 12th birthday and Baja Blast turns 2 today.
