Introducing the Night Owls!

I tossed around Northern Lights 2.0 since we were having another uncommon showing of the Aurora, but since their momma decided she was ready to welcome these babies in the late night hours of the middle of the night, Night Owls was fitting.

Enjoying a little sweet cream with my coffee this morning and sneaking a peek of cuteness ☺️
We were expecting Wednesday, but Coconut decided she wanted to be a late night gal and was ready to welcome her babies on day 60! She was quick about it…pushing her first around 10pm and nestled in cuddling her sweet creamy babies by midnight. 😴😴 oh, but thankful!
We’ll monitor babies a few days then reach out to those waiting on our long haired cream miniature dachshunds. Stay tuned!!

A full weekend and nearly 1000 miles round trip later…happy new Abundant Life Canines families! We are so thankful when folks choose us and our pups. We are our own transport and choose to hand deliver our pups so we are exponentially thankful our families are willing to drive part of the way to meet us. We humbly welcome all these fine folks to the Abundant Life Canines, LLC family!

It’s been a Doxie run weekend where we got to place our favorite guy, Milo Daniel, with his family. He gets to grow up with his 1/2 sister…they are perfect together! We asked the Lord to show us why we were to love on Milo Daniel for 5 months. He showed us and is moving in a mighty way in a family’s life. Praise God! Then we unexpectedly came home with a special surprise ourselves; one we didn’t know about going! We left with a Milo Daniel and were blessed in so many ways; including bringing home Miss Fancy!!

“Daniel”, now Milo Daniel, has been a special pup for us. We got to love on him a little longer than most and enjoy seeing some of his quirky and sweet personality. But, TOMORROW he gets to say hello to his forever family (and sister from a previous litter). Milo Daniel got to see our vet, Dr Greene, one last time today and was treated to a pup cup by the spoiler of this operation.
We will miss this sweet boy. I will miss his daily greetings as I go out to their condo. I will miss his spunky and hilarious conversations…yes, he communicates very well HA! But we are sooooo happy for his family and can’t wait to see them tomorrow!

FaceTime…one of the beauties of technology. Little Johnny here (Haze of our Fogs in August crew) got to hear his new momma’s voice and see her face tonight! The moment folks answer and see their pup is a priceless moment for me and one of my favorites!

Then there were three… one left from our August Rains and two from our Fogs in August.

Preparations are underway to meet our families for our current litters. We have three Doxies remaining. Contact us to be added to our meeting/delivery routes; 10/12 (TN & KY), 10/26 (route TBD), 11/2 (Springfield). When we are able to deliver on the same route this helps us keep expenses down for everyone.

Today was a big day for our Fogs in August babies…they got to go outside!
In order to protect them and keep them healthy we keep them inside until five weeks. They have spent the day walking up and down their step and taking lots of dog pile naps on their bed outside.
