To our farm family —

As we enter into 2025, Tall Pine Farm would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who have supported us throughout the past year.

Here are a couple stats from 2024

- Our trainers, Erin and Halee, proudly provided hundreds of individual riding lessons from beginner to advanced.
- Our lesson students showed in more than 15 horse shows, showcasing our riders and horses in various competitive events.
- Our 4H Club participated in 14 different county and state 4-H events, allowing our young members to learn valuable skills and connect with the community.
- Our farm hosted nearly 10 special events, such as horse camps, farm clean-ups, virtual hose shows and so much more, where we welcomed so many new friends, families, and new faces.
- Because of our growing community we were able to hire an assistant trainer, a secretary, and bring on 5 more lesson horses!

None of this would have been possible without our amazing lesson horses who take care of every rider, regardless of skill level, on and off the farm!

We are incredibly happy about everything we’ve accomplished this year and are excited about the future. We look forward to 2025 and all the new opportunities and adventures the coming year will bring for us and our community. Thank you once again for being a part of our journey! See you all in 2025!

Today is the last day to register for our holiday camp! We have lots of kids registered of all ages, so no one will feel left out 😊
Activities will include lots of riding, horse care, horse treat making, and even sleigh rides. Older kids will even get a chance to learn how to drive a cart. How cool!

We will be hosting a holiday horse camp, 12/21 from 10am to 3pm 🎄☃️
Some of our activities will include sleigh rides, horse treat making, horse care, a farm scavenger hunt, and of course, lots of riding! Expect hot chocolate and s’mores to end the chilly day 😉

Ages 5 and up are welcome. There will be activities to keep everyone engaged and having fun.

We already have some sign ups & it looks like spots will fill up quick! Don’t miss out!

There won’t be any Saturday lessons in December so this is a great way to stay involved and get some riding in!

We are thrilled to welcome this holiday season, but of course that means that our lesson season is coming to an end. Shorter days and cold weather will impact our ability to hold lessons as frequently as we would like so unfortunately you will see less lesson spots this month.
It’s getting cold so there may be days that lessons are cancelled because the temps are too low or the ground is frozen.

Because of the holidays there won’t be any Saturday lessons, but we are having a horse camp 12/21. If you can’t make any of the Monday lessons, this will be a fun way to learn about horse care and get some riding in 😊

As you prepare to attend your lessons, we kindly ask that you dress appropriately for the winter weather. Layering is key, so please ensure you bring warm clothing such as jackets, gloves, hats, and scarves to keep yourself comfortable during your lessons. If temperatures drop below 32F then expect lessons to be canceled for that day.

But wait, don’t feel blue just yet! Mark your calendars for our winter horse camp on 12/21. We’re gearing up for an awesome camp featuring sleigh rides, horse treat-making fun, and plenty of individual and group riding time. It’s going to be a blast!

Looking ahead, please note that we will be taking a break for the entire month of January. This time off will allow us to reset and prepare for an exciting new year. During January, we encourage you to stay engaged by attending farm clean-up days or joining our 4H group.

Cumberland County 4H will do a float for the holiday parade on December 7th!
A 4H holiday skate will be held on Tuesday, December 17th, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at skate2000. All 4Hers and friends are welcome!
