This sweet boy showed up at the Westgate Recreation Center and has not been claimed. He was severely matted but once he got a good haircut, it turns out he’s a super happy sweet boy! He’s about 2 years old, totally house-trained and very well behaved. We believe he is a sheepdog doodle. He is VERY large (78 lbs) and will require regular grooming. He is great with kids and other dogs.

Meet Princess! This sweet girl is a 2 year old mini Aussie mix. She weighs about 12 lbs.

Princess is a very loving girl but she also has that anxious Aussie personality. Because of this, we feel she would do best in a quieter home with older kids. She loves to be outside and has great manners! She is doggie door trained and crate trained.

FOSTER NEEDED!!!!
We received a call from one of our vet teams asking us to help this sweet lil girl. Her owners had brought her in due to not eating, significant weight loss and incontinence. She was also covered in fleas. The vet wanted to do a blood and urine panel (approx $140). The owners said they couldn’t pay and asked about her being euthanized.
Thankfully they called me and we offered to take her. She had all her testing and we will know results today.
She is only 4 yrs old and extremely sweet. She was already eating for the vet techs last night and is in great spirits. Hopefully her issues are not serious and we can help give her a long, happy life.
She needs a foster so she doesn’t have to stay at the vet.

💕Marble💕

Sweet Marble is the most loving dog you will ever meet. She loves to snuggle with you on the couch and in your bed. She cuddles up as close as she can get! She is so sweet, she gives kisses to her doggy friends, even the grumpy ones! Because of this, we think Marble would do best in a house with at least one other pet. She is very submissive and easy going. She just wants to be loved!

Marble is a 2 year old female teeny tiny (less than 10 lbs) Australian mix. She is house trained. She’s great with kids and an extremely gentle girl.

UPDATE:
Pablo, the sweet chi man, had a body of temp of only 96 degrees when we received him. Bloodwork showed his WBC so elevated it was literally off the chart. He was severely emaciated, dehydrated and malnourished. He was full every intestinal parasite imaginable and saturated in fleas.
Our vet spent 24 hrs doing everything possible to help him feel better but he continued to decline. It wasn’t fair to make him continue to fight. He was tired. We chose to end his suffering and passed over the Rainbow Bridge very peacefully. Sometimes saving them meaning ending their suffering.

As far as the little scruffy guy, Petey, he is doing well. He was also saturated in fleas, loaded with intestinal parasites and very thin. He is a sweet boy who we believe to be around 6 or so and definitely a Shihtzu mix, weighing 10lbs. Petey still needs a foster.

URGENT FOSTER/DONATIONS NEEDED.
We will be picking these little ladies up in the morning and taking them straight to our vet. We are unsure of ages at the moment but they’re both in rough shape, especially the tiny chi. She is in dire condition.
We need a foster or fosters for both girls. They can be separated. Please contact us if you can help.
Our vet bills are extremely high right now and while we don’t need to take on another vet case, much less two, we could not turn our backs on these babies.

Darla came to us as a bottle baby foster who liked to suckle her paws and tail so much they all were very infected.
This floof gal is all healed up and ready for her forever home. We believe she is a Great Pyrenees/Collie mix and currently 9 wks old. She has a wonderful disposition and has been raised with other animals and young kids.

UPDATE: These babies are headed to a partner rescue!
This special litter was rescued from one of our partner shelters at 2 wks old. Their brother is our handicapped boy, Mako.
These babies are ready for their own homes. All weigh between 7-9lbs and are 8wks old. Mom was a Dalmatian mix and we have no idea what dad was but they sure made some cute kids!

Thank you to their current foster who has been amazing with all of them this whole time.

Ruby is a 25lb, female (being spayed in a few days), sweet Boston Terrier, who we discovered had been living tied outside to a washing machine for the past few weeks. She is safe but desperately needs a place. If you’re interested please contact us. We do know she is ok with other dogs as well.

Samson is an 8 month old, male, Standard Poodle/Anatolian Shepherd mix. He is still growing, currently at approximately 50lbs. He is a friendly, sweet guy that is still learning house manners. He’s good with other dogs but chickens and ducks are not safe around him.
Keep an eye out for his “after” photos cause he will be getting groomed this week.

We are very thankful for our relationship with Vintage Paws and Brittany McCrea. We were contacted about this incredibly sweet, old lady not doing well at all in a shelter. As soon as we contacted Vintage Paws there was no hesitation in them wanting to help. We picked up her up the next day and thought she was in worst shape than she actually was. She deserves a chance to live the last chapter of her life loved and cared for.

‼️‼️URGENT NEED FOR FOSTER‼️‼️ This beautiful mama and her babies were found dumped with their kennel in the middle of a dirt road. They are maybe one week old, eyes still closed. The mama appears to be well trained. She has been bathed and cared for but cannot stay with the people that found her. Please reach out ASAP if you can help!

Update: Greta and her family of 10. All 10 pups are doing great in quarantine. Mama Greta does have mastitis we are treating.

Our Husky babies are weaned and ready for their next foster. They’re currently 5wks old and all 5.5-6.3lbs! We are also starting to take applications for adopting. Breed experience is preferred.

As the new year begins, we don’t want to miss the opportunity to thank everyone who has helped us do what we love to do. The rescue community includes many more faces than you may see. Throughout this past year, we’ve been blessed by fosters, sponsors, and partner rescues jumping in to help wherever there was a need. We could not do this without all of you and as a new chapter begins with 2024, we wanted to say thank you for a truly amazing 2023. Special thank you to all of our amazing fosters! Update: Birdie is doing so much better. She is now able to use her back legs and strong enough to walk. The only time she makes a sound is when she’s hungry, and man does she have an appetite. She is the sweetest thing. Good with all dogs, kids and cats. We would love to find Birdie a retirement home and give her the best Christmas gift of all…her own forever home. Joy’s Pet Haven

URGENT PLEA FOR HELP We have been contacted by a partner rescue begging us to help pull from an overcrowded shelter. These dogs will be euthanized soon. We can not pull any of them without Foster’s. There is a litter of seven puppies with mom (litter and mom can be split since they’re weaned). A four month, 14 pounder and others. If you can help foster please contact us asap. Videos in comments All dogs have had at least one set of vaccines.
