Meet Luna, aka Lovegood's Patronus. Standing at around 15.1 hh with a gorgeous liver chestnut coat, she's currently available for an on-property 6 month partial or half lease with ability to renew. Luna is a tried and true lesson horse; as steady eddy as they come. Perfect for someone who needs a confidence booster or wants to work on their skills through the winter and spring! She's gentle and sweet with a cute personality to boot 😉. Luna is very responsive and has her own motor without the reactiveness of a younger horse. She's been re-trained with dressage basics, has previously been trained for hunter/jumper on the flat and jumping crossrails up to 2', rides western, and can go on trail! Located in Douglas MA, across the street from Douglas State Forest with miles and miles of trails. Facility has an indoor and outdoor. Luna is great with kids and older adults, but would be most suitable for someone who can at least walk/trot/canter sufficiently and is able to tack/untack on their own. Whether you're looking to come in for the winter or tune up for next show season, I can help get you and your horse closer to achieving your goals.

I'm a USDF Bronze Medalist specializing in classical dressage and western dressage training. My goal is to have the horse working their body correctly and effectively, taking into consideration the individualized needs of every horse. As my client, I would prioritize your goals for you and your equine! I'd love to make your horse rideable for you so you can enjoy them with peace of mind. I love taking exercises from different disciplines and applying them to my sessions. I truly believe groundwork is just as important as anything under saddle, and enjoy taking time to go back to basics. My horses are also on the property, so you'd have a trail buddy and access to lessons on a horse besides your own. I welcome any and all breeds, mares or geldings, and ages!

Had such a fun day at the CRDA show at Apple Knoll! Luna's first ever time horse-showing (with me and maybe ever!) and my first time showing a horse that I own! I bought Luna almost exactly a year ago, and what a great way to celebrate her progress in that time. She placed 3rd in her T-2 test, scoring a 62% and 2nd in her T-1 class with a 65% we know what we need to keep working on at home, but she tried her heart out and acted like the perfect seasoned show girl. It was so fun to actually show with my best friend this time and not just be her groom/braider KAL Dressage and I'm so ecstatic for her and Yugo with their achievements today 🤎 thanks for the awesome photos and glad that my family could come watch. All in all, a good day. I love my Loo Loon 💜🩷❤️ P.S. if you didn't know, Luna's show name is "Lovegood's Patronus" which is a Harry Potter reference 🤓

Naomi Dupras Dressage has an open position for a working student. It would be a great opportunity for someone looking to learn more about ground work, R+/clicker training, and classical/western dressage from a USDF Bronze Medalist. Duties include basic barn chores; cleaning stalls, putting in shavings, filling hay nets, cleaning and filling water buckets, soaking alfala cubes, and paddock cleaning/paddock waters. Looking for someone to come at least 3 days a week, but preferably up to 5 days if possible. Schedule is very flexible when chores can be done. Ideal candidate would have reliable transportation. Previous barn work experience preferred, but wouldn't mind training the right candidate. Riding/groundwork experience can be anywhere from beginner to adcanced, just someone who wants to learn. If under 18, need a parent/guardian's permission. Position would be year round, but like I mentioned, hours are very flexible and chores could be done after school. Located in Douglas, MA. Whether you're an adult looking to get back into riding, have never ridden before, or have a young kid looking to start, my program is perfect for you. With dependable and sweet lesson horses, they can show you the ropes without feeling nervous or out of control. You'll get hands on experience with horsemanship in and out of the saddle. Welcome to my new business page! I'm a USDF Bronze Medalist based out of Douglas, MA. I trained for 4.5 years under USDF Gold Medalist Amber Smigel in Orange County, CA. I specialize in classical dressage, western dressage, and western pleasure. I am now accepting new clients for training and lessons! I have 2 lesson horses available in Douglas, MA to teach off of, both of which go english or western. Otherwise, I will travel to you for training sessions or to teach you on your own horse! I believe in positive reinforcement and really listening to the horse's needs, focusing on building a strong foundation of trust and respect between rider and equine.
