ISO "almost full time" barn help

Small friendly atmosphere Looking to at a teammate. (Current Person moving on to her medical job)

Ideal candidate:
-transportation and over 18
-self starter
-detail oriented
-independent
-ability to problem solve on the fly
-kind and able to take a joke
-adaptable and a good communicator

We have a 15 stall barn with all the fun tools and equipment to make this mundane task as easy as we can make it!

-handy water spigots
-hay drops directly into stalls
-easy to portion hay feeding
- no daily lugging bales

Would love 2-4 days/ week. Chores include: stalls, nets and water inside; paddocks cleaned daily; AM and/or PM feeding.

Coffee lovers and bad dad joke dealers earn bonus points

Pay starting at $17/hr commensurate with experience.

This competition was the pinnacle of our season. We have been working on conquering the intricacies upper levels of dressage for months. I wanted to come and show people "Thoroughbreds can do this! " and "if I can do it so can you! "

I could not do anything without my village. Dawn, despite her not being able to bring her horse, still came the 17 hours to Aiken with me. I wouldn't have survived without her!

Jim Laliberte, Emily Massoni and Melissa Eldred kept the farm rolling. Northeast Saddle Solutions LLC and Andrea Nel Christensen keep Rocky's 1894 just how he likes it! Of course my coaches who guide me. Andrea Manley was a gracious host.

We'll see yall in 2025 😉

Late (ahem very late) but *big* news!

Martini 🍸🍸 found a new home with Laura O. They are such a prefect match it's unbelievable ❤️. We wish them all the best in their adventures!

Just for kicks I put iso post on a WB sale page. The most incredible thing happened. A horse that checked all my boxes and hit everything on my wish list popped up!

Jim, Colton and I drove to Virginia to try "Galley"

🌟 "Galatoire's Gold" 🌟 or Baby G is a 5yo Oldenburg. I truly didn't think I'd find such a horse so fast, but he is just what I was looking for! I can't wait to get some miles under this sharp boy!

Busy busy busy!

Last weekend did NEDA summer. His second go at PSG showed a 5 point improvement in his score for a 59.85% 😁😁😁😁

Today ran about at Novice at . Tini is working on his dancing shoes. 💃🕺 He's growing into such a AWESOME xc horse.🤩🤩

Great Blake

Height: ~16H

Blake is an affectionate fellow, handsome, comfy gaits, easy going with others in turnout, loves people, especially kids, and his owner and trainer have got him started on his next career. Blake has started to learn new ways to use his body (bending, stretching) through groundwork and under saddle training, including ground poles which comes easily to him. He is sane and brave, and has a nice motor - not a “take off on you” ride, but a confident horse that accepts the legs and the bit nicely. Video below is from a clinic in April.

A warhorse, having raced 53 times and won over 150K, he has a normal amount of wear and tear expected of a horse with his career. His body is still working out the kinks post-track since retiring one year ago. We are looking to place Blake in a home with plenty of turnout and attention. He does require some maintenance, full vet records and treatment plan will be available to interested parties.

He is one of two for his owner, and she can’t keep them both. Blake has such a great brain, he should continue to be an easy restart project for someone willing to put the time into bringing him through slowly to help build his hind end muscles back up.

It's been a busy few weeks.

Last weekend Wendy and I attended the Tik and Sinead clinic. Wendy enjoyed playing with X as both of hers decided they would rather take the day off!

Then Wednesday Martini and I headed to Apple Knoll Farm Equestrian Center for jumper night. Tini needs some SJ practice- and he had 2 very good rounds.

Today we took Rocky to Ballantine Dressage for another down to earth lesson with Lauren Sprieser. Can barely belive this is my little eventing flunk out!

NEDA Spring on Saturday with . We contested 4-3. Tried a few different things, some worked and some didn't. We scored less than our goal, but the experience towards FEI is the gains.

Azrael Acres Sunday with Blair Connolly for her first dressage show ever! What a huge day for her and . They both acquitted themselves like old pros.

Next weekend will be Mystic Valley Hunt Club, Inc. And Apple Knoll Farm Equestrian Center !
