The Laramie Peak Humane Society is committed to the health and welfare of all animals, and the active pursuit of a loving forever home for every set of paws that enters our care. Hundreds of displaced animals come through our doors each year and it takes a lot of time, rehabilitation and veterinary care to place them into new homes. With such great support from the community of Converse County and

surrounding areas, our dedicated staff and our terrific volunteer base, we are able to provide a safe temporary home for displaced animals in our community. We offer many programs and services to educate, inform and inspire people to take responsible care of their pets and to treat them with the kindness they deserve. With the support from people from all over Wyoming and beyond, we are helping to create a better community for all.

We are postponing the Vets and Pets Bingo until further notice! 👏👏 Thank you to everyone who attended and all of our volunteers! It has been wonderful to have all of the support from our attendees. And our volunteers have put in countless hours every 2nd and 4th Wednesday.

🐈 This adorable little furball is Magneto! When he first arrived, he was a total scaredy-cat, dodging pets like a pro! But fast forward to now, and he’s a total attention hog—pets are his new jam! This little purr machine can't get enough! The one thing he’s not a fan of? Sharing his wet food! So, he gets his very own bowl—royal treatment, am I right? He loves to frolic with his kitty pals and would be great with dogs, as long as they get the right introduction! At just over 3 months old, he's all set to find a loving family for some serious playtime!

📣Cat of the Month📣
This gorgeous gal is Wichita! When she first waltzed through our doors, she was as shy as a turtle in a room full of rabbits! She preferred her own company and kept to herself. But oh, what a transformation! After three months, she’s blossomed like a flower in spring! Now, she’s the queen of exploration, both indoors and out, in our catio! Wichita loves to give your leg a little rub, and just when you lean down for a pet, she dashes away like it’s a thrilling game of tag!
Once she finds her groove in a new home, her true playful self will shine! She’s all about those pets and, of course, who can resist a tasty snack of wet food? Wichita is looking for a chill home where she can take her time getting to know her new fam. She can’t wait to see what adventures await her!
