Meet Lucy!

“Lucy, is five and a half years old.
She was removed from an abusive owner along with her three siblings about a year ago. She has been at a rescue facility where she has been loved and cared for and is so very ready for her new family.
Lucy will do best in a quiet home without young children because they may be to loud for her.. She enjoys walks and playing with toys and will truly be your best friend. She gets along well with other dogs”

Meet Paris!
1 1/2 year old mixed breed from South Carolina! 41lbs

“We may not always have Paris, but you can.
She loves a comfy spot to sprawl, providing the perfect opportunity to draw her like one of your French girls. (Ok enough with the movie quotes!)
You just can't be angry when Paris is around - her joy and happiness is contagious through her attitude and her smiling face. She loves to play and wrestle but also loves to curl up next to you on the couch- she's a girl who understands balance. She is excellent with kids and other dogs and learns queues quickly. She is treat driven and learns fast. She has learned to go into her crate with ease and is completely crate and potty trained. Just watch your socks and washcloths- she loves a nibble on anything soft and comforting. If you want pure love and the silkiest little head to pet, Paris is your girl!”

Meet Girl Scout!
1 year old spaniel mix from South Carolina!

From her foster!

“Introducing the sweet girl I had the privilege of rescuing and fostering thanks to the help of Carmen's Rescue. I named her Girl Scout because she was so sweet when I found her and continued to call her sweet Girl. She has been such an upstanding young lady just like a Girl Scout would be. She has earned badges in:
going potty outside
-walking on a leash (a little zig zagging and jumpy to start but doesn't bark or get distracted on walks)
-sit and stay (she is a super fast learner and I started to work on paw)
-crate training (she has to be guided in and cries a little initially but settles and does fine in the crate when I am gone)
-cuddling (I allow her to cuddle with me on the couch and in my bed. She is very affectionate and sweet
-making friends (she does well with my 10 year old chow mix and my roommates
10 year old black lab mix)
She would do well with an active owner and has the potential to be a little agility superstar. That's the dream I have for her.”

“Choco is an Alabama rescue boy. Taken from a home environment with 3 other pups, he is looking for love. Chaco is young (2 - 3 years) and would be an excellent addition to a family. He is exuberant but trainable. He has spent much of this past year in a large crate but was let out to play frequently, and so does not mind going into his crate. Actually considers it home. But he needs the joy of his own bed and his own people! He loves to play with toys and absolutely loves people. He is a little mouthy as sometimes he will greet you by gently holding your wrist so that you stay close to him. He has a crooked tooth that gives him a wonky smile and one eye that goes a different way than the other. Both which make him all the more adorable. He's a keeper!”

“Meet Gemini, a soon to be 2 yr old (DOB 5/31/23) young Alaskan Husky. Gemini was adopted from a local shelter in SC and then abandoned by her lovely owner. She was found running in a neighborhood, her microchip told on her owner. After the owner was found, he didn't want her back.
Gemini is an AMAZING dog. She's good with other animals, totally house trained, and walks pretty good on a leash. She's UTD on vaccines, HW negative, on flea and heartworm meds. Like all huskies, she loves to be outside, running, and exploring. Gemini will make a great addition to any family.”
