It’s finally time for me to let these babies go. This litter has a special place in my heart and the lives of our family. Every feeding was done by me and my daughter! This post is also a shout out to her for all her help. These 2 are 8 weeks old and ready for new adventures.

It’s official, we have made it to 3 weeks!!!! We have a female buff parti and a male brown tri roan. Both are looking for cuddles. I will try to get some real pictures tomorrow.

UPDATE…..

On the 16th of June Nova had an emergency C-section due to a uterine torsion where it ruptured. Nova was severely anemic and required blood transfusions during surgery. The torsion also caused an adhesion to her intestines that was repaired. Needless to say not all of the puppies survived but we do have 2 miracle babies. This post has taken almost 2 weeks to make due to the fact that I was unsure if we would have any babies to post about. The 1st week was a struggle as they were premature and the male seemed to be fading. But I’m happy to say both are doing well and still receiving mine and Novas care. These babies are being bottle raise as Nova had to be spayed at the time of her c-section. She is still taking an interest in them, she is such a natural mother. I’m sure she will help with future babies in our program. I will post what few pictures I have ( you can imagine my free time is very limited). Thanks to everyone that has sent messages inquiring about Nova and the babies.

Nova has an appointment on Friday the 14th for puppy count and she is due the 18th. This is her last litter. So if you have been on the fence about getting one of our babies, now is the time. I will post pictures of previous babies.

Maverick and Nova will be expecting puppies the 3rd week in June. This is Nova’s last litter. This could be the last of the brown we see until Dusty comes of age. Lanee is our next female to breed and she is a black tri that carries brown but our chances of it showing are not very high. So if you have been on the fence about a brown roan it will be approximately 2 years before I can guarantee we will see it again.
