IT'S HOT OUT!!! Please beware of heat stroke in your pets. With this heat, it can occur quickly and by the time you notice the symptoms it is often too late. Please take care not to leave your dogs outside for long or unattended and make sure they have access to shade and water. If you are concerned your pet may be experiencing heat stroke, please take them to your vet right away! 🥵☀️🔥

Our staff at Douglasville Veterinary Hospital held a contest to see who could guess Taro's breed (full name: Taro Mochi Waffle). We've all seen him grow up and thought we had pretty good guesses. Well... EVERYONE WAS WRONG!!!!! Today we are celebrating our joint failure with cake 🤩🐾🍰

EDIT 12/20/21: John Dog is BACK and NEEDS A HOME!!! In his temporary home he was very sweet and got along with his dog brother but he did get a little excited and would jump on his owners. Due to their own health concerns, they made the hard decision to bring him back. Please let us know if he might make a good addition to your family.

EDIT 12/10/21: Renamed Bubba, this sweet baby has found his forever home and is doing well!! ❤️🐾

John Dog needs a forever home for the holidays!! He was tossed into our clinic and abandoned and needs a home. He is such a sweetheart and quickly grows attached to people. Please let us know if you can give him a forever home!! 🥰🐕🏡🐾

Douglasville Veterinary Hospital near Atlanta, GA is offering a $10k sign-on bonus as we look to add a veterinarian to join our team. We are a full-service facility dedicated to providing the finest professional health care for our patients, and offering the best possible service to our clients. We have an experienced staff, and a well-equipped facility, allowing our doctors to practice quality medicine. You will find in-house labs, a surgical laser, digital X-rays, ultrasound, and cold laser therapy available when you tour our hospital. Addition of a dental radiology unit is planned.

We had to say goodbye to our Great Dane Eddie today, the cancer in his leg was growing and so was the pain it caused ... it doesn't feel real ... completely heartbroken 💔
