Thank you to all of my clients for all of your patience with my recent scheduling changes due to my double mastectomy yesterday. I am doing very well and looking forward to going home this morning. Due to surgery next month, I will be taking a training break from mid October to sometime toward the end of the year. I *will* be taking current/former clients looking for boarding through the holiday season. Please reach out if you’re interested in a comfortable place for your dog during the holidays. Not the most flattering picture aaaaaand I don’t care. Living in this vessel I am gifted means maintenance and care. Most ALL of my time is devoted to the dogs in my care but I need to take days for myself and I thank all my clients for their patience and understanding this week. No surprises but I kept a few dogs a a few days longer in preparation and it worked beautifully for everyone. I’m good, I am healthy! But caring for yourself takes time and attention. Please understand how important this is for the care of your own family member. I like to adopt the oxygen mask theory. Make sure I’m cared for, so I can care for everyone with me. Thanks to everyone in my life for supporting me this week and I look forward to welcoming in a new group of dogs over this next week ahead. 🤗 And THANK YOU to the amazing staff at Sharon Hospital. I hope I don’t need another hospital ever again, it was such a comfortable and welcoming experience. Like going back in time, in a very good way.

Hiya & Mac this very hot 🥵 afternoon. Hiya likes to do big jumps into the water. Mac has not showed interest in swimming until today. After Hiya’s first BIG jump in, Mac did exactly the same. I think he caught himself by surprise! 😆 I know he will end up being a swimmer, but this is the first day he’s actually swam. The best way to get them in is alongside other dogs who love to swim.
