I've had SO MANY people reach out and check on our little boy so I wanted to give everyone a bit of an update.

About 2-3 weeks ago he started to have swelling come and go around his right eye, that has gotten more and more persistant over the last week. We were going in all different directions but the doctors were all pretty stumped and began to worry about a possible mass/tumor.

Well, we had a MRI today and the universe knew my anxious heart couldn't handle a whole weekend of waiting for answers and the DR called with a hopeful diagnosis and a game plan!

They are super confident there is NO MASS/TUMOR.

They are fairly confident he has something called "Orbital Inflammation Disease". We're not out of the woods yet as we are meeting with some other specialists over the next few weeks to better find the cause, however, we have a treatment plan to start and we can all breathe for the first time in weeks.

Thank you all again so, so sincerely for your wishful thoughts, flexibility, and support.

And thank you for your continued patience as I play catch up with A LOT of appts and we navigate further doctors appointments and information.

As I navigate some medical hurdles with my young son, I want to thank everyone for patience and understanding, in advance.

The next few weeks may bring some more rescheduling, some waiting, and some longer response times than normal. I apologize in advance but I gently ask everyone to please remember that everything is operated by just me.

Right now Josh, Dimitri, and I are juggling a lot, and as much as I love you all and your pups, my little guy is my number one priority.

A big thank you to all of the clients who have been so overwhelming kind to me the past week moving things around last minute, and getting emotional with them at drop offs and pick ups. I appreciate you more than you know.

If any changes need to be made to your appointment, I will do my best to give as much notice as possible and try to get you back in, in a timely manner. Thank you. 🩵

To give back this year we took $2 for every pup we had the pleasure of servicing 12/1-12/24 and donated to Rescue for the Misunderstood based out of Wilmington. They go above and beyond for the breeds often overlooked in overpopulated shelters and give them a fresh start.

Thank you to all of our lovely clients, four legged and two, for helping us make this possible. We are so fortunate to have clients as generous and loyal as you all. We hope you enjoy the holiday season with your loved ones. ❤️❤️❤️

A friendly reminder that as we get deeper into Doggie Sweater Weather, friction and moisture are a recipe for disaster to long, luscious doggie-locs. It's one of the biggest causes of matting groomers see!

It's important to brush and more importantly COMB your pup out, daily and to only leave the sweaters on for as long as necessary. Prioritize spots that get the most friction. Avoid getting knots wet prior to brushing, as they dry, the knots will only get tighter. Invest in a nice conditioning de-tangler, one of my favorites is The Stuff. Helping prevent breakage to your pups coat, will only benefit them and help aide in preventing matting.

And worst case senario, if your pup does get too knotty, a short haircut is never as bad as it looks! It's more comfortable, safer, and easier on your pup. Forcing a dog to undergo de-matting is not fair and can cause further injuries and pain than ever necessary for a look! If you have any questions about what products may work best for your at home maintenance, reach out to your groomer for some pointers, there is nothing better for a pup than an educated owner!

We had transferred over to a new phone and everything seemed to be working well as some clients were getting and responding to messages, but it appears it may not have been functioning 100%. We have had an increase in unattended pet accidents in our lobby and just want to gently remind everyone to please clean up after your pet. The lobby is a shared space. Please be courteous to not only the other pets that visit but also the other businesses in our building by helping us keep this area clean. A pet clean-up station is available in the lobby. Accidents happen, but please arrive with enough time for your pet to go for a brief walk prior to services for a chance to relieve themself. In the instance you are not able to attend the accident, please notify us, and we will gladly help. Thank you.
