Good evening all! We have made the decision to close tomorrow for the safety of our staff and clients. If you have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow, we will be calling to reschedule when we open on Tuesday. Should you have an emergency tomorrow, the Delmarva Animal Emergency Center will be open. With Christmas and New Year’s just around the corner, our hours will be slightly adjusted to allow our team to spend quality time with their families. We’ll be closing early on December 24th and December 31st. While we’d love to celebrate with you, we hope you understand.

When your pet visits us, it’s common for their heart rate to increase due to excitement, nerves—or maybe even a mix of both! Thankfully, we have a tool to help us understand your pet’s heart activity better.

CardioPet is a noninvasive device that records the electrical activity of your pet’s heart, creating an electrocardiogram (ECG). This helps our veterinarians assess heart rhythms and detect any potential abnormalities with precision.

Unlike traditional ECG devices that use sharp metal clips, CardioPet features comfort clips with flat tips. These apply gentle pressure, making the experience less stressful and helping your pet stay as calm as possible. 🐾
