Super weekend at PCHA! Haleigh held her reign in the pony division walking away with a champion and finishing out the year Champion in both the pony eq and pony hunter and will likely be top 3 in the hunter pleasure class for year end! Haleigh also qualified for medal finals with a 3rd place on Saturday and getting a 2nd place in the medal finals!

After a month off due to THREE hot nails, Liam and KP turned a successful Friday schooling into a impromptu horse show weekend not only winning Saturdays medal, but qualifying for medal finals AND pulling a 3rd in the finals! This team is quite the duo and we are SO proud of this horse and how far he has come!

Lily had her first show on Oberon and also did phenomenal! We went with the mindset to just school and get to know Obie and turns out they knocked it out in the walk trot pole division earning a 6th under saddle and a 2nd and 3rd on the poles in a class of 10!!!

Nicole and Jerry also came to cheer us on and had a great weekend of positive schooling and experiences!
We decided to participate in the Halloween barn decorating contest at the last minute. Despite having the disadvantage of an interior area, we thought we represented pretty well with our Zombie Barbie theme!

For those who don't know, back in February we lost Tango suddenly. It hasn't seemed like the right time to post. She was 28 and I had had her 25 years.
She touched many people from all disciplines and was always the most reliable horse around.

This post is in honor of a very special horse, Tango. Tango excelled at many things, she was a Champion in the show ring, taught many young children how to ride and how to love horses, and was a movie star, with many credits including an awesome role alongside Melissa McCarthy and Kathy Bates in "The Boss". Most importantly to me (Carol) she is the reason I met my BFF Kelly Rutland, because she was her heart horse! Kelly lost Tango recently, and it shattered our hearts. I don't know if Kelly is ready to see this, but this shot is from the fantastic set photographer who was kind enough to send it to us. Three fabulous leading ladies all in one shot! Happy Birthday, Kelly! 🎉🎊🎂 Tango is and always will be the queen! 👸🐴🎬🌟❤️

Well, the cat.... or the grey is out of the bag! A long awaited and big congratulations to Lily and Brittany on their purchase of Oberon!
Bear (aka Obie) is actually the 4th horse we've tried in a long line of misrepresented horses, dishonest sellers and wildly unprofessional sellers. However, we think he was the best yet to come and the literal silver lining! After an extensive career in Wellington, we think Obie will be super happy taking things easy with a kid to call his own!

We had another fantastic show weekend at PCHA to kick off the summer last weekend. This sure is the little team that could! All the divisions were full and everyone completely rocked it!

Annie is our newest little! At only 4 years old she is trotting and learning to post with Claudia! She and Superman are simply one of the cutestest things ever!

Well this post is nearly a week late! Last Thursday we welcomed the newest little member of WSF; Quantana's foal by Citadel VS.
He waited until 355 days to make his debut! Mom and baby are healthy and happy and we will be choosing a C name very soon!

Holy Cow! What a whirlwind weekend! After a short hiatus we started our show season up this weekend and needless to say, it did not disappoint.
We kicked off with Hayden doing her first horse show and riding Rowdy. This was also Lili's first horse show and she and Rio did a killer job in the walk/trot division! Haleigh and Superman moved up TWO divisions and slapped down killer course after course. Liam turned out to be our sleeper and gave Kelly some incredible rides! Nicole and Rowdy had a great weekend as well and also even got a 2nd in the Champagne Derby!

What a whirlwind weekend!! 8 horses... dodging thunderstorms.. intense heat but the WSF crew killed it. Numerous champs/reserves in packed divisions, first timers, new ponies and a couple move ups! We are always bad about snapping enough pictures but I don't think we stopped moving the entire weekend!
