Rivendale Equestrian Rivendale Equestrian was established in 2015. A 16 acre Equestrian Facility located in Dover, NC that specializes in Hunter Jumpers. Solely owned/operated.

This beautiful 16 acre equestrian facility was established by avid equestrian of 26 years, Morgan Worthington, to complete her childhood dream at 29 years old. Morgan is the sole owner and operator of the facility, an 8 stall, concrete, center aisle barn, (which she personally custom designed), hot/cold wash stall, climate controlled tack room/feed room/second floor in-laws quarters/lounge, refrig

erator, full bathroom i.e. shower, rubber mats in every stall, fans in every stall, several multi-acre pastures, cross country course, and an Olympic size riding ring with stadium jumps to name a few. Morgan is in her 10th year as a passionate and talented Board certified Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine, all the while, also having an Equine Science degree from St. Andrews University, where she placed 5th on the ANRC National written exam in 2009, and competed on one of her personal horses, Swashbuckler. She also rode on the IHSA, "A" show, and "C" show teams for St. Andrews during her collegiate years. Rivendale currently has NO spots left available for boarding as of October 2022 since welcoming to our family and filling the last three boarder spots in early 2021. Other Rivendale news... it saddened us to see a wonderful and talented individual and their handsome steed depart our facility in December 2020 but we are so proud of them, even if leaving meant to further pursue and complete her DVM status! Congrats Cara! :) We miss you! So proud of your accomplishments and we will always hold a place in our heart for you, your family, and the ever so handsome “Tippy”. Hikers and horseback riders will soon have new trails to travel in
eastern Wake County.

The Wake County Board of Commissioners Monday approved a
construction contract for Procter Farm Preserve, a 571-acre
property of forest and working farmland near Knightdale, Wendell and Zebulon. The preserve, located between Doc Procter and Riley Hill roads, will primarily serve as an equestrian and hiking trail facility.
