We understand that the park is extremely icy....worst it has been this winter so far. Perhaps dog owners might want to consider skipping a few days until it either melts off or gets a nice deep layer of snow to provide some traction. We don't want a dog or dog owner to fall and get hurt

Dog owners, please be aware that the park is extremely icy. It is the worst we have seen since it opened. If you have ice cleats or yacktracks please wear them. If you have a really active dog there is always the possibility that your pup might fall while playing and get hurt. Might be a good time to take a few days off from the park and walk your dog, but, unfortunately, the sidewalks aren't much better! We just wanted to pass this information along to all the dog park people.
