A big thank you to the newlyweds, the Walkers! In lieu of favors for their wedding, they opted to cover the adoption fee for sweet Hope! As dog parents of three rescue pups, they know how much of a difference this can make in a dog's life to have a loving home and a dedicated family! Introducing lovable little Lucy! She’s a petite 2 year old who traveled here from Georgia in search of her forever family. If you're looking for a sweet companion who's equally playful and cuddly, Lucy could be the perfect match!
Lucy may be a bit timid at first, but don't let that fool you; once comfortable, she warms up quickly and you’ll see her happy tail wagging! “Hot Lava” arrived as a stray. He is very overwhelmed with shelter life, spending most of his time tucked away in his condo. His initial response to people is to hiss, which for him means “I’m scared”. Baby steps are key to earning the trust of a frightened animal. With a calm approach and a gentle reassuring voice, he softens and readily accepts love. In the right home, Hot Lava will make a very sweet companion.
