I am the perfect companion for an introvert (or should we say dogtrovert), who prefers canines to people! I love the company of dogs and I’ve learned to accept patient humans, who give me time and space to earn my trust. Before being brought to the safety of the shelter, life for me was scary and made me very weary of people. The great news is I’ve come a long way learning to trust when given proper introductions.
My soulful eyes and silly personality will melt your heart. Toys are my love language, especially squeaky ones! I love going for walks, car rides and I’m a great snuggler. At just 4-1/2 years old, I’m the perfect package of playfulness, affection and curiosity, looking for nothing more than your approval (and more new toys!).
I have enjoyed many play dates with fellow shelter pups and my confidence soars with a buddy. It would be amazing if my forever home has a canine sibling for me! I have met a few kitties, which I find interesting, but with proper introductions and a dog-savvy feline, I think we could peacefully share a home.
I need a quiet adult home, without lots of unexpected visitors, as I need time to relax with proper introductions to new faces. I don’t like surprises and sudden movements but I’m the kind of guy who forms strong bonds with those I trust.

Meet ‘Big Ted’! While his size may not be that big, he makes up for it with his huge heart. At just 3 years old, this sweet boy made the long journey from an overcrowded shelter in Georgia and is hoping his forever family soon chooses him.
Big Ted is an absolute sweetheart with the most unique markings (much like a spotted leopard)! He loves to spend time running and playing in the great outdoors although the current chilly climate is taking some getting used to. Toys (especially squeaky ones) are his favorite and be prepared to keep tossing them in endless games of fetch! Once Big Ted burns off some of his boundless energy, he is a master snuggler! He recently had a sleepover and was reported to be the perfect house guest.
Big Ted wants to be the only canine resident in the home so he doesn’t have to share any attention! His history with cats and children is unknown.

He’s a picture perfect poodle, who will set your heart on fire! Say hello to “Blaze”, a 3 year old (49 lbs) Standard Poodle, who is waiting for his home. True to his breed he is extremely social, very smart and full of energy! He’s a wiggly cuddle bug who will thrive on spending time with his new family, including marathon cuddling sessions, lots of playtime and plenty of exercise to keep him happy and healthy.
It is important for Blaze’s adopters to commit to his grooming needs; regular professional grooming is essential to maintain his curly coat. Poodles typically need grooming every 4-6 weeks, depending on their coat’s thickness and length and is essential to prevent matting and maintain a manageable coat. The cost of grooming varies depending on your location and services offered.

Happy Valentine’s Day from “Church”! He travelled all the way from Georgia and is praying his lucky day soon arrives with a family to call his own.
Church is a sweet, gentle boy, who craves affection and being just 1 year old, he has an endless supply to give back. We can’t say he’s a fan of the freezing New England weather but he’s learning how to navigate in the mounds of snow! Church will make the most amazing addition to a loving home and promises to be the best pal!

Meet ‘Pajama Party’ (aka PJ)! This calico cutie has been overlooked due to her quiet nature and it’s time she gets some press!
Pajama Party is approximately 2-1/2 years old with some visual impairment. She does best with a slow, quiet approach until she feels comfortable; once she feels safe, she comes to life! She is a great hunter of catnip mice and a professional feather swatter! PJ loves her wet food and enjoys tasty treats when offered. She has lived with other cats and may enjoy the company of a calm feline friend. Her history with dogs is unknown but due to her visual impairment and quiet nature, it is best she live in a home with no dogs. Older children who will continuously be respectful of her needs are best.

Jinx Is here to remind you that age is just a number! At 10 years young, she has plenty of zest, wiggles and love to share!
Jinx is a delightful mix of Doberman Pinscher/Hound. She is a very affectionate lady, with relaxing and snuggling being at the top of her priority list! Jinx prides herself on being very low maintenance with her only requirements being a comfy couch/bed, butt scratches and periodic moments of human adoration! She also loves a good romp in the snow, playing with her toys and occasional car rides.
Fun fact: Jinx has been spending her time in an amazing foster home. We have learned she’s not only a champion snuggle buddy but also an artist who just commissioned her first abstract painting; all it took was peanut butter, a ziplock bag, a blank canvas and some paint for her inner Pawcasso to create the masterpiece!
Jinx is great with other dogs and cats (with proper introductions) and all people. She’s 90 pounds of love bug waiting for you!

There is nothing like the beauty in the soulful eyes of senior animals. We would like you to meet Max & Maxine, a very bonded pair who will make the most delightful additions to your home.
Max & Maxine are two peas in a pod! At the seasoned age of 12 years old, both are mellow and love receiving quiet affection along with some gentle scritches. Often, they are side by side exchanging gentle body bumps and intertwining their tails, showing their love for each other.

Callie
Looking for an energetic pal to keep you entertained? Meet Callie! True to the cattle dog breed, she’s bursting with energy and needs out of the shelter into a forever home with an active family.
Callie arrived as a stray and we all fell for her bubbly personality. At approximately 4 years old, she’s very playful, adores going for long walks and is a champion zoomer! There isn’t a toy she won’t retrieve and she’s proven to be a tug-of-war expert. Callie enjoys leisurely car rides, making an excellent co-pilot who never takes her eyes off the road! Belly rubs and cozy snuggles are a must for this lovable girl so be prepared to devote your attention all to this cutie pie!
Callie is a high energy pup who would do best with an active family. She has enjoyed many playdates with canine shelter buddies. She would need to meet any potential canine companions to ensure compatibility. While we have no past history regarding cats, she may find them a bit too interesting!
