⭐iFoster Youth Program: While our age requirement is 14 to volunteer on campus, the iFoster program is available to kids between the ages of 8 years old and 13 years old. Sammy is a sweet, shy soul looking for a quiet, patient home to help her blossom. Once she feels secure, you'll get to see her playful personality shine! Sammy has so much love to give and needs a family who will help her build confidence, at her own pace, and learn life can be full of fun adventures. She is an avid runner with lots of energy who adores chasing after her toys! With patience, love, and some positive reinforcement, Sammy will make a loyal and loving companion.Sammy’s ideal home should be calm where she can feel safe as she learns to trust again. While we don't know much about her background, she has shown a bit of fear with men. She will do best as the only canine in the home. Sammy lived with a cat in her previous home; with proper introduction she may be fine. Foster Friday - Czar
Czar is a mixed breed, small dog, who is looking for a patient home to show him how to be a dog!
He lived outside for his whole 2 years of life and needs help learning how to be an inside dog. He will need a patient person to help him learn that he is safe, and some basic training to help him gain confidence. He may even benefit from a dog friend to show him the ropes!
The shelter environment is a scary place for dogs like Czar, but being a foster parent for them, even if for a short period, can change their world.

Bowser
Bowser's soulful eyes and big smile are just a glimpse into his truly silly demeanor! He experienced a tough life but he’s ready to show you how he’s blossomed as he is learning what love feels like.
Bowser is a bit guarded when meeting new people but given a little time to trust, he quickly warms and the wiggles begin. Toys are his security (especially the squeaky ones!). At just 4 years old (40 lbs.), he’s the perfect package of playfulness, affection and curiosity. He’s also an outdoor enthusiast who loves long trail walks with a few stops along the way to soak up some sun and belly rubs. Indoors, he transforms into the perfect snuggler who just wants to cozy up with his humans.
Bowser will need to meet any potential canine companions to ensure compatibility with his new playmate! He’s enjoyed some playtime with shelter pups and his confidence soars with a buddy! His history with cats is unknown. A calm, adult only home is best for Bowser.

Parents! Paws and Pajamas is a fun and easy way to get your kids involved with Pope Memorial Humane Society, and have a little time for yourselves too. The night includes popcorn, time spent with a litter of 3 month old baby rabbits, animal related crafts, and more!
