We are so proud to have the opportunity to sponsor this exhibit and are so happy that it has been so popular! It is truly wonderful to see children explore their love for our furry friends!

It's Thank You Thursday! Today's shout out goes to Winichahanat Veterinary Care here in Dover for their sponsorship of our Mini-Wini Veterinary Clinic! This adorable little exhibit was supposed to be temporary but it has been so phenomenally popular with our visitors, it's here to stay!

We even moved some items from the vet office onto the main floor of the Museum while construction is going on. We couldn’t let those sweet "pets" be ignored for months! It'll be back in its original spot once construction has finished.

Hey Seacoast Pet Parents!
We are now entering the final phase of our expansion into the former Metro Spa space!
We will be opening up the walls to join the two buildings on Saturday, July 20th.

For this reason, we will be closed on Saturday July 20th!

We will reopen Monday morning as usual.
Thank you for your patience with our build out process. We are so excited to show you the new space as soon as we can open it up!

Hey Seacoast Pet Parents!
We are so excited that we are bursting at the seams!
We are expanding our floor space yet again! We are moving into the old Metro spa space and adding three new exam rooms, more lobby space, a refreshment center, a designated dental suite, a special procedures room, a new triage center, meeting rooms, and offices, to help to serve you better and make your stay more comfortable.
Our goal is to make your visit as pleasant as possible, and we have seen that as we have grown, sometimes it gets a bit chaotic... We are excited to show you this new space in the next couple weeks!

Hey Seacoast Pet Parents!
We will be closed on Wednesday June 19th, in observation of Juneteenth, or Freedom day. Ever since Juneteenth became a national holiday a couple years ago, we decided to learn more about what makes this day special.
On June Nineteenth, 1865 (2 years and 6 months after the emancipation proclamation was signed and over two months after the Civil war ended), 2000 Union Troops marched to Galviston Bay Texas and freed the 250,000 enslaved people in Texas. These were the last remaining people enslaved in the United States. This date marks the end of slavery in the United States.
We celebrate this major milestone in making our country, truly the land of the free.

APPOINTMENT POLICIES & GUIDELINES

At Winichahanat Veterinary Care, we highly value our relationships and the well-being of your furry friends is our top priority. To ensure that we can provide the best possible service to our clients and care to our patients, we wish to share our client policies which ensure that your furbabies receive the attention they deserve.
New Client Booking Fee:

We understand that your time is valuable, and you want the best for your pets. To help us maintain an efficient schedule and ensure that every patient receives the attention they deserve, we have implemented a booking fee that is equal to the cost of the examination. This nominal fee, which will be applied towards the cost of your visit, helps secure your appointment. It’s important to note that the booking fee will be forfeited if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice or in the case of a no-show. Additionally, please be aware that new clients who no show or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice more than one time, will not be considered for future appointments.

No-Show and Short Notice Cancellation Policy for established clients:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur. To accommodate as many pets as possible and offer timely care to our clients, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Established clients who have 2 missed appointments (no call/no show or appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice), will be required to pay a booking fee to secure their appointment for all future appointments. This policy ensures we can provide prompt care to all our clients and maintain our high standard of veterinary service.

Payment Policy:

To ensure that we can continue to offer our services effectively, we require payment for all services immediately upon completion of the appointment or procedure.
We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and debit cards. We understand that unexpected veterinary expenses can arise. To assist our clients, we work with Care Credit, All Pet, and Scratch Pay and encourage our clients to purchase Pet Health insurance so that everyone is prepared for those unexpected expenses. Information on Pet health insurance, Care Credit, All Pet, and Scratch Pay are available in the office. Please ask our staff for more details!
Our goal is to focus on the well-being of your pets without any financial concerns lingering. By adhering to this policy and exploring the financing options available, we can maintain our commitment to providing exceptional veterinary care.
We encourage you to review these policies thoroughly. If you have any questions, our dedicated team is available to address any questions or concerns that you may have.

We would like to highlight and celebrate our very own Leslie!
Leslie is a Certified and Licensed Veterinary technician as well as a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager!
She is the one we all look to when our day goes sideways, when we are in need of that one special thing, when we need someone to talk to, when we need some one to cheer us on, and when we need to learn a new skill.
She is our cheerleader, our organizer, our whip cracker, and our friend.
