UPDATE. ESTIMATED BILL IS $5900 And some change. FORGET THAT. send all your prayers and good wishes for my drivers. We aren't fixing any of it so it will be a slow ride home.

Thank you to the ones who donated. We will be seeing about trading/selling/burning thos van once it limps back to Arkansas.

NEVER EVER BUY A MERCEDES. Jesus. Worst thing I ever did.

This has not been a transport any of us will soon forget. We have experienced so many emotions the last couple of days and felt the comfort and support of our rescue partners. We can not thank our adopters enough for adopting the "unadoptable". The goodbyes were not easy this trip.

Then, in true Mercedes fashion, the van no longer wanted to "go". There was no power despite how hard the gas pedal was pushed. Hills were being climbed at only 30-35mph. Once our last dog was dropped off in Rochester we got to a hotel room. It is now at the dealership... again! Not only are Callie and Jessica stranded, but Jessica's 13 year old son is with them on this trip. We were hoping for only one day, but Mercedes said they have only one tech and the van may not even be able to be looked at until tomorrow.

We need help feeding them and need funds to fix the van. We usually spend no less than $5000 each time the van is in the shop.

A mommy and 10 puppies mommy was dumped and had these puppies at this nice lady's house and she is doing her best to care for them but she is elderly and not able to do a whole lot especially in this heat and the only way we can help her is with Fosters

Look at our little starved girl from Hector!! She is already so much better. She spent a day and night at the vet on fluids. Her bloodwork was surprisingly good except for anemia from all the parasites - ticks fleas worms etc., and of course malnutrition.

We have named her Matilda. She weighs 32 lb, about 15 to 20 lb short of what she should weigh. Shockingly, she is heartworm negative!! She has zero body fat or muscle mass right now. But she loves her food! She is currently getting wet and dry food for extra calories, 3 to 4 small meals a day. She is being dewormed and is on probiotics to help her stomach. She has horrible diarrhea right now but that's to be expected.

Today Matilda left to go with Pat Bruno who will be her foster for the next several weeks as Matilda gains strength and weight. We are so grateful to our fosters who will commit to the hard medical cases like Matilda.

Millie Millie!! Always playing 2nd fiddle to Molly! Millie would love to have her very own home. She is very dog and people friendly. She is a quiet gentle girl who enjoys hanging out with her people and just chillin'!

Millie is about 2 years old. She is about 45 to 50 lb and she can definitely give you some pointers on your eye makeup!! Please consider Millie for your next BFF! She will not disappoint!

Millie sleeps in a crate all night with no accidents. She appears to be house trained. And she is waiting for you!!

Transport Lucky #7 is on the road!! Not a very big load this week but to the 15 or so that got to ride the Bus it is worth every mile!!

🌟🌟🌟FIVE DOLLAR FRIDAY🌟🌟🌟

Well, we made it thru another week of irresponsible people and abandoned animals. And our Village showed up BIG!! We can never say THANK YOU enough. We have been blown away by your generosity and kindness this week in the face of our multitude of needs!! You never let us down. Your kindness saves these dogs.

So this Friday if you haven't already donated or you want to donate again, our biggest need right now is FOOD. 200 dogs eat A LOT. And FOSTERS. And VOLUNTEERS to come out and help clean feed and water 200 dogs. We need hands on help!!

🚨 FOSTER NEEDED 🚨

This boy showed up at someone's house in a BSL area. He has been shot at by neighbors in the neighborhood and this family is trying to find him help. However, we are beyond full at the rescue. To help we HAVE to have a foster.
