Today is the start of our Empty the Shelter weekend Hidden Acres Safe Haven . Come on out and help give our cats a forever home!! All cats 6 months and older will be $25. Each cat is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea and ear mixed treated. We will be open today for the event from 10-3 PM and Sunday 10-3 PM @ 50582 Pleasant St Dowagiac

A Grateful Shout-Out to Dohm Well Drilling Inc & Skorupka Electric!

We are beyond thrilled to share some exciting updates for Hidden Acres! Thanks to the incredible generosity and hard work of Dohm Well Drilling and Skorupka Electric, who donated their services, we now have water lines and electricity running through our property. This is a total game-changer for our animals, volunteers, and overall operations.

Having access to running water and reliable power makes everything smoother—from keeping water troughs ice-free in the winter to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our rescues. It’s not just a convenience; it’s a transformation for how we care for the animals and manage daily tasks.

We can’t thank these local businesses enough for their kindness, expertise, and dedication to our mission. Their donation has truly helped make this dream a reality, and we are so incredibly grateful.

We would like to Thank all of the people who attended our Artisan Market, Trunk or Treat and Haunted woods. We had amazing Vendors, trunks volunteersand neighbors. A special Thanks to JB and Emily for the amazing Haunted Woods.

My blind cat is missing from 52290 Townhall. A window in my camper must have gotten broken in the storm last night.
She is blind and helpless
Whinny is a petite cat, black and white, with BIG green eyes. She is very sweet and I cannot imagine how scared she is right now.
Please share this and please watch for her. I am terrified about this cold rain and the coyotes😭

The gates will be open at 7AM for vendors.. Please check in at the Gate when you arrive and you will be given directions

People who are passing candy from Their cars Please arrive between 12-12:30. In the past vendors have also passed out candy as well

ARTISAN Market is from 10-4 and
Trunk or treat, Hay rides and haunted woods is from 1-3
