I’ve never owned a dog who fully watches tv (and I’ve had a LOT of dogs)! Latke, however, LOVES to watch h the tube! No matter what we watch (“Survivor,” “The Rookie,” even a boring documentary), the girl is mesmerized by what she sees! She won’t even let herself fall asleep if the tv is on! 😂 Tonight, just for fun, we put some puppies on, and boy, did she love watching them. Sound on for video. Does your pup watch tv?

There are some people who deserve a lot of credit, not only for adopting, but for adopting pups with special needs! My heart is so grateful for people like Abby and Kevin, who have Winston, a 12 year old mix who is now blind, and who just adopted Dollie, a four month old Boston Terrier who lost one of her eyes (and suffered from a host of other medical issues). These wonderful owners not only sacrifice much of their time and money to care for these pups, but also invest in formal training to ensure that each doggie lives its best life possible. Thank you for all you do! Winston is one cool dude, and Dollie is so smart, she’ll be making serious headway in no time!

Wonderful updates! Meet Barkley (I asked he was named for Saquon, but no; he was named for a Sesame Street character 😀). This little Bernadoodle baby is very special. His mom is a fierce single mama of a 7 month old baby who decided to tackle getting a puppy too! Wowza! Much credit to her for already teaching Barkley some of the basics, making time for formal training, working full time, AND taking care of her absolutely adorable baby at the same time! Way to go, Laura! It is, after all, Women’s HERstory month!

If you nerd out over dogs like I do, you might enjoy seeing how different the exact same breed of dog can look. On the left is Charley and on the right is Enzo. They are both Bernadoodles. Look how different the shapes of their faces are and how very different their coats are. They’re both awesome in their own, goofy ways.

It might be cold out there, but that didn’t stop Pickles and her owners from staying dedicated to their training! Today, their world changed by learning how to walk their dog with NO PULLING, no barking, no jumping, anything! Everyone did great! Then, Pickles learned how to have controlled play time without being in charge! Woo hoo! Keep up the good work Pickles and owners!

Super proud of Julie, Nate, and Miss Josie! Josie was extremely aggressive toward other female dogs. With consistent leadership training and hard work over the past month, today Josie was able to focus on her owners, rather than on her nemesis, Molly! Look how close Molly gets, and with very high energy! Josie and her owners rocked it! They also walked both dogs together (the most effective way to make dogs friends). It was a beautiful day!
