A new week, a new crew. While it’s always a National “something” day, today is National black dog awareness day. Black dogs are typically stereotyped as being “scary” and are, therefore, adopted way less often than lighter color breeds. So shout out to Clarence (who was once almost entirely black) and to Charley today, and to all of your black dogs!! Please share a picture of your black dog! They all deserve some love today (and everyday). In the meantime, enjoy these smiles.

Super proud of Dollie and both her parents! They have been working so hard in so many different types of setting to counter Dollie’s reactivity to dog (and leashes, and vacuums, and…..). She has been doing really well with her walks and passing other dogs outside, but when she take indoor classes, she can’t seem to settle down. Today she proved everyone wrong by not only not reacting to Pancake at all, but by becoming friends with her and then doing really well with two other dogs as well! Way to go Dollie and crew! And I can still count on my Pancake at 11 years old to help me train. 😍
