We picked a sample of our white popcorn yesterday! It's coming along nicely, and we will start hand harvesting in a couple of weeks. It will take a month or more to dry in mesh picking bags before it is dry enough to shell!

We'll be at the Downtown Bloomington Farmers' Market Saturday morning from 7:30am til noon with the following: lots of zucchini squash, cucumbers, sweet corn, tomatoes, green beans, purple filet beans, dragon's tongue beans, Tiger Doll (super sweet) watermelon, potatoes, onions, garlic, shallots, hot and sweet peppers, okra, eggplant, yellow squash, patty pan squash, apples, sweet potatoes, kale, leeks, pears and radishes.

We had some folks stop by a couple of months ago asking for a "bushel" of crowder peas. I suggested that they might be ready the end of September. It's the end of September and they are ready to be picked. We can pick a bushel now if you contact us today!

We'll have Tiger Doll watermelons at the farm Friday afternoon and at the Downtown Bloomington Farmers market Saturday morning. They are an 8 to 9 pound super sweet watermelon.

We have alot of zucchini squash, summer squash, zephyr squash and patty pan squash. Great time to freeze some to have this winter to use in your favorite stir fry, bread or cake recipe.
We love zucchini bread and cake. I shred it and freeze what the recipe calls for in freezer bags. Great to make during the winter holiday season!
Can come to the farm Friday or Saturday morning at the Downtown Bloomington Farmers market to get some!
