Do not fall victim to buying two pups at same time. They don't need a friend to bond. They need to bond to you and for you to train. Research breeds and energy levels. They need to fit your lifestyle and not just bought cause of cuteness. It's a commitment.
Enjoy the fun cute moments, but training starts the moment you get it. Be sure to share puppy pictures on this post. We love them.

Good read. I never charge cancel fees if dog is sick or weather sensitive. Open honest communication of your dogs health history is important. This includes if your dog was recently in a daycare or public park.
I use Rescue Kennel spray, odorban and wysi wash spray.

💪 Upcoming Canine Fitness Workshop!
The workshop is focused on teaching all participating teams the following skills:
1, Fitness Exercises on Stable & Unstable Fitness Equipment
2, Precision Positions for Conditioning & Obedience
3, Introduction to an Electric Dog Treadmill
4, Dog Treadmill Exercises

📆 The workshop is 2.5 days, starting on Friday February 16, 2024 & it will end on Sunday February 18, 2024:
Friday February 16 @ 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday, February 17-18 @ 9:00am - 5:00pm
(Lunch will be provided on Saturday & Sunday)

🐶 Dogs will not need canine fitness experience to participate in the workshop; however basic manners will be required for all working slots to receive the best feedback. Dogs with fitness experience are also welcome to further their skills.

👉 Working dogs are required to be able to perform the following behaviors to participate in a working slot:
1, Work with a strange person
2, Follow a food lure and take food rewards when presented
3, Not reactive or nervous in busy environments
4, Train in the presence of other dogs
5, Crate in Car

We are full in our new pens! Bha practice ring is built. Scent work ring will be going in Jan. Once seminar is over, the indoor play area will be a Fun place for boarders to explore. Slowly coming along. Dividing walls are next on the pens.

What's better than a quick nap? Answer: all dogs napping at same time with you. Busy fun morning. Trapped a rabbit in dog yard. There was excited dogs on HIGH alert :-) Bunny is free and hopefully learn lesson.

Our parish is back under burn ban. Yards are becoming dirt again. Astroturf yards are seriously back on my list to accomplish. The dogs do enjoy the sprinklers in yard.

Lawn burweed or “sticker weed” is a winter annual that germinates in October and grows all winter long. Next April, it produces the burs that are capsules that contain burweed seed. To avoid the stickers in the spring, you must treat lawn burweed during fall and winter.

The most important factor for effectively controlling lawn burweed is to apply post-emergence herbicides in early winter prior to flowering and seed set.
