As the weather warms up and you think your double coated dog should be shaved, please reconsider. While ultimately, I'll do whatever the pet parents want (within reason) there are reasons your groomer will try to talk you out of shaving your dog.
Ever wonder why your groomer tells you how your dog behaved every. single. time.? If I tell you he's grouchy every time, no, I'm not telling you I hate him or trying to make you feel bad. If I tell you she was a perfect angel every time, no, I'm not kissing your butt. If I tell you I think they may need to see a vet, no, I'm not getting paid a commission by your clinic. No, I'm not trying to be annoying and redundant. It's because I care.
I give a report for many reasons
🔷️ sometimes I find something under all that hair that needs to be addressed.
🔷️ sometimes you need to know your dog is extremely wiggly or aggressive because my tools are sharp. This means sometimes the haircut might not be perfect to avoid injury or unneeded stress on your pup
🔷️ sometimes your dog isn't acting normally. Though, yes, our pets can have off days and bad moods, too... but a sudden behavior change isn't normal.
🔷️ but every time, it's because I care about your pet's health, happiness, and well-being.
