❄️ Keeping Your Animals Safe in the Cold Weather ❄️

As temperatures drop, it’s important to remember our furry friends who may need extra care to stay safe and comfortable. Here are a few tips to help protect your pets during cold weather:

-If it is too cold outside for you, it’s probably too cold for your pet. Limit your walk time!
-Be sure to wash and dry your pet's paws and belly after each walk, as some salts can irritate their skin.
-For added warmth, consider a sweater or coat for your short-haired pet during the winter.
-Wintertime means certain chemical hazards are more widespread, such as antifreeze, deicers, and rodent poison.

🩺 Important Notice for Our Clients: Online Pharmacy Prescription Timeline 🐾

We want to remind all our valued clients about the process for filling prescriptions through online pharmacies. The process requires a fair amount of time from our staff and doctors. To ensure your pet’s medications and food arrive on time, please plan ahead and allow 3-5 business days for prescription approval.

💊 What You Need to Know:
Approval Time: Please allow 3-5 business days for your prescription to be processed, reviewed, approved and submitted.
Plan Ahead: Order your pet’s medications early to avoid any delays, especially if you’re running low on essential prescriptions.
Once Approved: Your medication will be shipped directly to you after approval. Any concerns after the prescription has been approved should be directed to the internet pharmacy.

We know how important it is to keep your pets healthy, and we’re here to help make the process as smooth as possible. If you have any urgent medication needs, please contact us directly, and we’ll assist you as best we can.

Lastly, we would like to remind everyone that we are almost always able to supply the medications you need for your pet directly from DAMC and truly appreciate your support of our privately owned small business.

Greetings from DAMC!

We wanted to reach out to let everyone know that we will be switching to a new software platform for our medical records system beginning the morning of Tuesday, 9/10. This is a completely new system to the entire staff. While we have spent a lot of time watching training videos and attending training sessions that is never quite the same as the real thing. This is a big transition for us and we would like to ask for your kindness and patience as we navigate this change.

Additionally, we will be closed from 2:30-4:30pm on Monday, 9/9 for final preparations.

A member of our team is part of the family that owns and operates Coleman Hay Farms located in Chalfont. They are currently selling humanely raised, pastured chicken. Please see below for more information!

🐓We have Pasture Raised Chicken Available!🐓

Our Chicken here at Coleman Hay Farms is Pasture Raised with NO antibiotics, hormones, or preservatives. The best part about our chicken, is that it is FRESH!

Our Pasture Raised Chickens are not organic, but they are raised as outdoor Chickens with the ability to enjoy the pasture but also are able to stay safe within their shelter provided. Our Chickens are not fed organic feed but are supplemented with grain on top of eating the pasture and all the bugs!
