For those of you who are adamant about using other companies forms this is why we highly discourage it. Both forms are 20” B measurement full sneaks. Form on the left is an OTS which is highly recommended for our midwestern deer. Form on the right is from McKenzie. There is no way the form on the right will fit our mature deer.

ATTENTION: In order for us to get caught up for gun season we will only be accepting 4 youth deer this weekend. We plan to take in as many gun season deer that we can handle and will try to avoid a cut off this year! Thank you and good luck to all the kids

To say I can’t mount them fast enough is an understatement……. Randal Kukral just killed his third 200” plus deer in Ohio 3 years in a row. All free range. I could be wrong but I believe he’s the only person in the U.S. to accomplish this task. If I am wrong I know he’s the only one to do it in the State of Ohio. Congratulations and thank you so much for the business!!!!!

Unfortunately this is something I did not want to have to do again but due to the continued rise in form and material costs I am forced to slightly increase my prices yet again. I am only raising $50 to cover the additional costs of purchasing materials and will be at $700 for shoulder mounts and $750 for wall pedestals. All customized forms or pedestal mounts will be adjusted accordingly and price will be known upon drop off. I really appreciate the continued business and will do everything I can to keep these prices as reasonable as I possibly can for as long as inflation will allow me to do so. I look forward to seeing all of you again this year

This is what us taxidermists call “JELLY HEAD” it’s caused from customers hanging a deer upside down and packing it with ice above freezing temps. Contrary to belief this is the worst thing you can do to your prize buck. Even though it’s cold the water displaces between the muscle and skin of your deer all the way through the skull area creating and speeding up bacterial growth. Not only is it a mess for your taxidermist but the bacteria between the skin will cause the hair to fall out making your cape worthless and costing you as the customer more money for a new one. Always lay your deer on the ground slightly elevated in the chest area so water can drain out the back. Pack the inside of the deer with ice then lay a tarp over the outside of the deer and pack the heavy meat areas with ice on top of the tarp. Get your animal to a processor or process it yourself as soon as possible is always the best solution

For those of you trying to tackle the task of caping your own deer and are unfamiliar with it please watch this video or YouTube other videos. An improperly caped deer will only cost you more money in the long run. Gun season is on its way and processors are full. It’s much more simple than you think
