Here’s the exact moment my heart exploded with gratefulness❤️❤️❤️Thankful for every single person that liked and shared our story and for every single person that commented with prayers and advice. We read them all. So many people searched for Cleo. Many of them stopping to look as they passed through Georgiana on their way to the beach. Complete strangers are now friends forever~~Doc, Jennifer, Judy, Jessica. So very thankful for the gentleman from Birmingham that called my husband to tell him he saw Cleo sitting in the middle of I-65 but she was gone when he turned around to go back and check. Thankful to God for keeping Cleo safe. And especially thankful for my husband for never giving up and for being a man who believes in the power of prayer. He left me in Tuscaloosa recovering from my injuries and headed to Georgiana the morning of June 4th. He told me he wasn’t coming back without her. And he meant it! Just so you have a small idea of the anxiety we had….Cleo is an inside dog~~has never spent a night outside in her 3 1/2 years. She spent 8 nights outside and alone. She sleeps on our bed between me and Ryan with her head on a pillow just like us. She is our baby. We needed her back so we could completely heal and move past this horrible experience. And all of you made it happen right alongside God and my husband.❤️❤️❤️

Cleo was found safe by Ryan(her owner)this morning(June 5) around 6am on I-65 about 4 miles south of Georgiana. A HUGE thank you to Molly, Doc, Jennifer, Ron, Darrell and Traci!! Thank you to Betty and Grant Brown for calling to report seeing Cleo yesterday morning!! Thank you, Jessica, for trying to keep track of Cleo until Ryan could get there. Thank you, Judy, for helping Ryan search in the woods and rain. Sorry about the stump hole!!!! And to the precious community of Georgiana, I cannot put into words the love and gratitude our family has for you💖 Thank you to the 165k people who shared our story!! Everyone of those shares was crucial and played a part in Finding Cleo. Thankful that God kept our baby safe!🙏 My heart is so full❤️❤️❤️

Georgiana, AL***Cleo - White Golden Retriever - Female - 3 years old*** Missing since May 28th from Hwy 106 & 55.
Cleo's family was in an automobile accident with injuries. Cleo managed to escape the vehicle and was last seen heading South into a wooded area.

Cleo can be SHY so please DO NOT CHASE. It is not known if she sustained any injuries from the accident.

There have been reports of people seeing a large white dog but it is unclear if it has been Cleo. If you think you see her OR have ANY INFORMATION please CALL ONE OF THE NUMBERS WITH THE LOCATION & SPEAK WITH A FAMILY MEMBER, TAKE A PICTURE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. Family is desperate to get her back.
A Community Awareness Campaign is in the works as the area is rural and we need to get the word out about Cleo.

Hello everyone, my name is Savannah Shirley, daughter of Ryan and Karen Shirley and the owner of Cleo. As most of you know, we got in a horrible accident Friday night on a highway in Georgiana, Alabama and our poor pup jumped out of the shattered back window and fled into the woods. We are so grateful for all of the kind, selfless people who are giving all their time and effort to help us get our family back together. It means more to us than you know. Please pray that God is protecting our sweet Cleo out there and that we are reunited soon! Attached are some pictures of her, she’s about 90 pounds (chunky girl, we know!) and she has a bubblegum pinkish colored collar with multicolored sprinkles all over it and attached to it is a little replica Alabama license tag with her information on it. Thank you all so much.

Cleo has been found and is back home safe and sound! She was found by her owner (Ryan) early yesterday morning (June 5) on the side of I-65…4miles south of Georgiana around mm 112. Thank you to EVERYONE that has followed and shared our story. We are so humbled and grateful!❤️❤️❤️
