This is exactly why I use that expensive Ecollar. Quality is very important

A lot of people wanted to know what brand of collar Chief was wearing when it exploded and he was burnt with battery acid.😭 I found this collar through a recommendation in a lab mom group. This was a brand new collar, and we only had it for maybe a month. We didn't use it for the shocking features, but we did for the vibration. If you know anyone who uses training collars for their pets, please tell them about Chief. After googling, I did find other stories of this happening. He is in loads of pain and has a long road to recovery. I'm so sad for my poor baby boy!💔🐾

If you're looking for a high quality muzzle this brand is my pick

Sometimes I get tagged in photos and am just mindblown that I made that muzzle, and now it’s helping another dog on the other side of the world live a happy life 🤯

Plus this extremely handsome chap looks very similar to Sunny - the dog that this size was named after, who was a large GSD I worked with in rescue for years.

Sunny had bitten multiple times, he had an extremely aversive adolescence that impacted his world view and I fought for him every day we worked alongside one another! He’s now living in the most perfect home, with acres to explore and such kind and compassionate adopters 💗

I never got to see Sunny in the muzzle I named after him, but this is what I imagine he would look like, and that brings me joy!

It always cracks me up when people don't like kennels for puppy's. What do you think a crib is 👀👀

The number of things this can apply to is insane.

I don't understand why people just give their dogs complete, free reign over their homes and give them no boundaries or structure. It seems like such a miserable way to live with a dog when, in my opinion, there is such a simple solution to it. It doesn't have to be a kennel. You can put them on a leash or create a long term confinement area or room to keep your dog that is "doggy proofed" for when your dog can't be actively managed or supervised.
And yes, perhaps you need to make some serious adjustments to your enrichment plan and put a good training plan in place in order to fully fix the problem. But just giving your dog free reign to do inappropriate or destructive behaviors and not starting by just putting a simple management system in place makes no sense to me 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

“People seem to think that border collies need a ton of exercise or constant mental stimulation. That they always “need jobs”. They do not. They just need rules and and to be taught to do nothing.

Stop worrying about keeping your puppy mentally stimulated all the time. Don’t put it on a treadmill, or walk it for hours, or play a ton of fetch. Teach it to do nothing. Teach a place behavior. Watch Netflix with it.

Tricks are fun and walks at your puppy’s own pace without over doing it are fine. Train your puppy to have an off switch and don’t create a dog that is reliant on being physically or mentally exhausted to be able to relax.”
