Bittersweet day today. Captain officially went to his new home, and while we’re all very sad to see him go, we are very happy to know that he is going to the most loving home with . Putting smiles on faces is Skittles superpower! had an incredible bare back ride today working on connection and riding from her seat. Getting back to the fundamentals can be so grounding and such an incredible reset for riders at all skill levels and we really saw that in our ride today 💜💜💜

Play day with the ponies on the trail! We took the horses out for a practice run to a nearby trail and just hand walked them to allow them to experience all of the excitement of the new place without the additional stress of carrying a rider. They absolutely LOVED it! Just like for human athletes, cross training is so important for the mental and physical health of our horses, so remember to always mix things up for them and yourself. There will definitely be many trails in their future!

Trailer practice with all the ponies and the new trailer went super well today! Loading issues with Freckles seem to have been behind us for a while, but we’re always trying to make previously stressful things boring, especially with this one!
