Bowser and his perfect jaw line, is here to let our community know that our Shelter is full. We cannot take Owner Surrenders, but if you need to surrender your animal, you can fill out our Owner Surrender Request form and be added to our waitlist for when space frees up.

We can take lost/found pets, and assist them with reunification with their families.

We are open to the Public Tues-Sat from 11am - 5:30pm. It's a great time to ADOPT! Come meet the most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes in the Greater Jackson area.

Teton Science School's Mountain Academy's 4th and 5th graders scheduled a visit to our Shelter with service in-mind.

This creative crew spent their time making enrichment toys for our cats and then of course trying those toys out to have some fun. These style toys allows our cats to get some exercise, hone in on their natural hunting skills. and just have some whirly swirly fun!

Thank you to the teachers and students for their efforts! We can't wait to host you all again.

Good thing our cats can’t read, because we’re saying it out loud, Raven is our favorite cat available for adoption! His lustrous physique and cool cowboy attitude have us swooning. Yesterday we transported 6 doggie dudes from our partners Blackfoot Animal Shelter & Rescue to our Shelter. We were planning to bring back 4, but could officially fit 6 goodest boys in our staff's car, due to the lovely nature of the dogs' selected. Forever-a-puppy sized Nigel took on the co-pilot position, and Ben and Bruno snuggled tight as big and little spoon alongside the 3 kennels. (see below for names and basic stats for each dog transported)

Blackfoot is consistently full, with an incredibly hard working staff. We are thankful they are entrusting us with transferring in these highly adoptable boys.

All of the dogs transported in our great with other dogs, people, and are male:
Bruno, will Blackfoot Staff Member, Willow -1 year old lab mix
Nigel, with PAWS staff Jess 2-3 year old Lab Chi mix, full grown!
Bradley Cooper - 1.5 year old Chocolate lab Pointer mix
Matthew Mcconaughey - 1.5 year old Doodle
Fletcher - 1.5 year old Black Lab mix
Ben - 10 month old Golden Retriever mix, with a very boopable sleepy snoot.

Fitz and Benji's highlight reel was produced literally 1 hour after they were officially adopted!

We think their POTW is just too cute not to share, and hopefully will spur interest in all of our adoptable cats- we have quite the feline fleet!

So even though these two hype boys are newly adopted (yeay!), we still have SO MANY incredible cats and kittens to chose from.

2022 has been like no other year for PAWS. In addition to providing more than 700 local pet families with low-cost spay/neuter aid and financial assistance for critical veterinary care, PAWS acquired the Teton Valley Community Animal Shelter in Driggs, ID due to financial distress.

As we reach the end of the year, we are gratified to report that our shelter, PAWS of Teton Valley, has cared for more than 450 local pets in Teton Valley in 2022. Our shelter not only cares for local and regional homeless animals while awaiting adoption, we REUNIFY families, and provide pet-retention programs and community education!

In 2022, more than 1,100 local pets were helped by generous donations to PAWS.
The homeless pets that entered our shelter this past year did not choose their circumstances, but we can change them by giving them a second chance – better lives with families who will treasure them.
