Scenes from our Masterson Method Advanced course last week. National instructor Becky Tegnes is masterful both in knowledge and her passion for teaching. We were so graciously hosted at incredible facilities in our area—- Graymar Farm, Galloping Springs Ranch, Redbird Sporthorses and Lone Star Ranch. Their equine residents share so much to allow students to develop their skills. This course always reminds me how lucky I am to be involved with this wonderful community.

Pfew, what an intense week coordinating & teaching. I never knew when I started my own journey into Masterson Method bodywork what an impact it would have both on my relationship with horses, but even more so how I see our world 🥰.

As always it’s an inspiration to see Becky Tegnes teach— her crazy depth & breadth of knowledge, her passion for teaching and her laser focus on our purpose to help the horse.

I’m so thankful for the generous and like-minded facilities that graciously host this course— Graymar Farm (Penny Reeves), Galloping Springs (Ashley Shaw Dressage), Redbird Sporthorses (Sammy Cook, Samantha Kellermann) and Lone Star Ranch (Tina Adams, Amy Thompson). We appreciate you!

And to the dedicated Masterson practitioners who clear their schedules to donate their time assisting and helping others learn, the support within this community is truly one of the best parts: thank you Kelly Jefferson, Kate Murray-del Aguila, Toni Stevens and Emily West.

So 7 students, 4 facilities, and 40 horses later (representing 13 breeds and 8 disciplines!), I happy to watch this group on their own journey and love knowing even more horses will benefit.💖

That’s a wrap on our The Masterson Method, Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork Advanced Course! What a finish with Day 4 & 5 hosted by Lone Star Ranch (Darden Hill). So many hard-working lesson ponies got a chance to have some well-deserved bodywork, and our students the opportunity to integrate everything they’ve learned. It’s always staggering to see the transformation students make during the week. Facility manager Amy Thompson was a behind the scenes dynamo, and ponies… ya’ll make it all possible. Thank you Blue, Groovy, Teddy, Liberty, Astro, Penny, Sparkles, Pudge, Chevi, Red, Vegas, Obie, Milo, Mustang, Thunder and demo mare extraordinaire Leggs 💕.

Day 3! Redbird Sporthorses (Sammy Cook) were so welcoming for a jam-packed The Masterson Method, Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork Advanced Course segment. Students honed their pre-session evaluation skills, national instructor Becky Simpson Tenges led us through a full demo session, and students then had their opportunity to do a full session on Redbird’s wonderful equine residents. Thank you Toby, Margot, Blaze, Nugget, Fiona, Annie, Apollo, Spider and Pete! With collateral good vibes enjoyed by the mini/donkey/retiree team 🥰🤣🥰.

Fabulous Day 2 of our The Masterson Method, Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork Advanced Course. Today our host was the wonderful Galloping Springs Ranch and Ashley Shaw and Jennifer Jarvis. The horses were incredible and so much learned with a focus on hind end techniques, and increasing our understanding through anatomy & biomechanics. Thank you to our real teachers: Faye, Luna, Sally, Bilbo, Hollie, Monti and Howie 💕

Kick off day for our The Masterson Method, Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork Advanced 5-day course. We were again hosted by the wonderful Graymar Farm and Penny Reeves. We so appreciate the opportunity to work with a great group of horses who are the cornerstone to teaching this method.
