Born and raised in Montana, Travis graduated from Montana State University. Travis in Animal Science with a Pre-Vet option. No stranger to the business he was raised on a commercial cattle ranch in Harrison, Montana. He has worked for registered breeders and has also owned both registered and commercial cattle. He attended his first ABS AI school when he was 13 years old and has been AIing cattle
for 30 years. Travis is well versed with synchronization and new techniques through intense Embryo Transfer training and yearly recertification courses. He has the knowledge and experience to complete AI projects both Timed AI and heat detecting, big or small from start to finish. He has been part of AI projects in the past for both Simplot and Solaris Feeders. Travis utilizes a hydraulic chute and/or breeding barn along with a great crew to provide turn-key service for breeding projects with consistent results. For many years Travis has been an active part of the Montana Cattle industry through his own Genetics business, being a Superior Livestock Representative, and now an ABS Representative, as well as being a director in the Rocky Mountain Stockgrowers. They will be covering parts of Granite, Powell, Deer Lodge, Jefferson, Silverbow, Beaverhead & Madison counties. Travis looks forward to helping producers with their genetic goals.
