It’s unfortunate but we have reached our quota for the year. If we have already spoken to you about mounting a bird for you we are going to honor those commitments. I wish there was a way to be able to say yes to everybody but we just can’t at the moment. If anyone is interested in having us mount a bird for you we will possibly take a few birds this summer however I if not we will resume taking work in again in October.

I’m looking into possibly making a change from using real feet over to cast feet for my customers birds or maybe even giving them the option of which they would prefer to have.

I’m looking for some feedback from my customers here on Facebook about what their preference would be. The cast feet would likely come with a small increase in price however in my opinion the pros/cons of the cast feet far outweighs the pros/cons of using the real feet. 90% of the birds I do for myself have cast feet. The cast feet will eliminate any issues your real foot would have like shot damage or freezer burn issues plus give you longevity, accuracy, and nicer detail.

: Note this is not a knock on real feet. A good set of real feet will work just fine however cast feet are the better of the two for quality purposes. The industry is changing, cast feet for a little while now has been more of a competition technique but it’s beginning to become a little bit of a commercial thing as well. Pics are cast feet.
