Ever wonder what goats flirting looks (or more so sounds) like? Our Billy is in Rut, as most are this time of year, and he’s noisy & insanely smelly. Most people associate the smell of a buck in rut with goats in general, BUT most bucks only have that distinct smell when they are in rut which is normally during the fall & spring. When we moved to the farm 2&1/2 years ago, I (Lyz) dreamt of a Pinterest worthy, insanely colorful, bright and obnoxious farm. That unfortunately took a back burner to the structural & necessary renovation projects that needed to be done to a barn & home that had little to no upkeep in years. We are FINALLY getting to the fun part! The quakers are approving of the work in progress on their run! COLORS, COLORS everywhere! Stay tuned for the finished project!
