Exciting things for our breed!

After more than a year of diligent work, the United American Bully Association (UABA) is proud to announce that we have received Official Approval from the United Kennel Club to begin making strides towards becoming a Provisional Club! However, the work does not end here. With a goal of obtaining a full national license to be the recognized UKC National Breed Parent Club for the American Bully, we recognize that there is still much to do and learn.

Our mission is to connect people and unite American Bully fanciers, breeders, exhibitors, owners and all who love this amazing breed. We are dedicated to the education, training, care, preservation, and overall well-being of the American Bully.

Additional Goals of the UABA include but are not limited to:
• Complete a Breed Standard that encompasses all that the American Bully is, and should be.
• Deliver Judges Education
• Provide the Community with educational resources on the Breed Standard, Health & Temperament Resources
• Obtain OFA CHIC Certification

ETA: Our application was approved by the UKC for meeting all requirements to achieve National Breed Association status. It was a very extensive application and we exceeded every requirement for a National Breed Club. UABA's area of operation is the USA, and events will be hosted in all areas that we have the support and ability to do so. We will keep you in the loop once we know more details about future events!

Happy 6th birthday to my new years litter! ❤️

Tomorrow the world says goodbye to all the XL bullies sitting in shelters and rescues who are homeless in the UK all because of their size. Some may not even be bullies but if they fit the look and size they too are required to leave the Earth. It’s wild that literally half an inch of height can come between what could save and kill those dogs. Tonight my dogs aren’t celebrating a new year but instead the lives of their breed that will be gone, if you know bullies then you know they’re happy cheerful dogs who are full of life and if anything they would want their lives celebrated, bullies LOVE to be the center of attention after all. Tonight we spill some goats milk for the dogs that don’t deserve to leave the world so soon. We can only hope that in 2024 better things are set in place for the breed because it’s unfair to take the life of innocent dogs without offering behavioral evaluations first. To all the sh*tty breeders who were irresponsible and have these dogs in shelters tonight F**K YOU, you are the problem. To all the dogs that will be leaving the Earth I don’t know you but I love you and I hope as a community we can put an end to such things from happening, you will be a part of breed history and we will fight for change on the behalf of all the lives lost. Hold your dogs close ❤️

We have 4 birthdays coming up in the month of January and one more birthday at the end of this year. I’ve made a wish list that includes treats, chews and toys, for anyone that may be interested in spoiling a dog on their birthday. Multi pack items will be split between all of them and they will receive them on their birthdays, singular items will need a note stating which dog you want the item to go to, I will wrap the item and let them open it on their birthday! I’ll be doing this throughout the year of 2024 making a post a month before each dogs birthday.

Ciri will be turning 4 years old on December 21st she LOVES hard nylon bone style chews as well as destuffing some stuffed toys and loves all kinds of chews and treats.

Charlie will be turning 6 years old on January 1st, she LOVES balls, shedding stuffed animals and loves all kinds of chews and treats.

Cinder will be turning 5 years old on January 27th, she also LOVES balls, shredding toys and isn’t at all picky about her snacks!

Vesta will be turning 5 years old on January 27th, not a ball fan but loves destuffing some stuffed animals and ofcourse never picky on about treats and chews.

Nyx will be turning 2 on January 30th, she loves things the squeak and all kinds of chews and treats.

Next we have another Vesta X Arson puppy!

Eliza (Kreme) is from the donut litter. She spends most of her day next to me or sleeping on the couch while I work from home. Eliza is loved by everyone who knows her. To say Eliza adores kids is an understatement. She gets so excited when the neighbor kids run down the street screaming “Eliza is outside!”

Eliza does not have much fear of strangers or other animals. She loves walking around stores like Home Depot and getting attention from everyone she sees. She enjoys playing with other dogs and especially loves her regular visits with her sister, Cannoli (Maple).

Some of her favorite things include eating, playing with her sister, going to the vet (for the treats they give her), and cuddling on the couch. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to travel from Michigan to Nebraska in a blizzard last winter to get Eliza! If you are thinking of adding a Black Coal Bully to your family, you won’t regret it!

Next up is a Sadie X Sosa baby

Nash entered our family in Buffalo, NY 4 years ago. He arrived with great foundational training and is so smart! He lives an easy breezy life lounging on furniture and snuggling. He loves chew toys and playing pickle in the middle with his human siblings. He is happy to romp with other dogs, but often doesn’t realize his power. Whenever food is involved, the drool pours. He loves car rides and walks. Everywhere we go, people comment on the size of his head. He has had some struggles with strangers who come to our door or walk by. His bark can be quite intimidating. He is the best dog we have ever owned. We love him so much!

Our next dog spotlight is a Vesta X Arson baby!

Cannoli (originally Maple) is from the donut litter. She is a little over one year old. She spends most of her time on the couch watching her dad work or snuggling up to us!

Her favorite activity is going outside to help me "check the chickens", aka hunt bunnies and rid the yard of chicken p**p. Cannoli loves when her sister Eliza (Kreme) comes to visit so she can chase her around the yard and chew on her muzzle.

Cannoli recently got her CGC and we plan on dabbling in barnhunt, conformation and scent work but mostly she is a companion. This is our second bully from Tristan and they have both exceeded our expectations in temperament! Cannoli excels at cuddles, belly rubs and hearing a food wrapper being opened across the house. We are so glad Cannoli was able to join our family. She fits right in, like it was meant to be.

Our first dog spotlight is a Sadie X Arson baby!

His owner writes:
Crimson Tide (CT) formerly Sniper. Now lives in Michigan. He has come a long way from the 42 pound puppy to a now 86 pound hoss! Pictures are worth a thousand words. He completed our chaotic family! Master of snuggles and the sploot! He is chill and just a couch potato 80% or the time but does cut loose every now and then and we all take cover when that happens LOL he doesn’t know his power, he has knocked me on my bum more than once. He is a bit of a baby when it comes to cold/snow and rain-often protests going outside in these conditions. LOL He is the biggest smoosh and we don’t know what we would do without him. As you can see he has lots of other pet family here (3 cats, another dog and chickens!) and he does well with all of them. He can get a little bit of a tude every now and again…when at the vet understandably and when there is a lot going on around him..some stranger danger but he is easily corrected and back to his normal doofy, cuddly self. Everyone who meets him first thing comment on how large his head is…we just love him and so glad we took time to seek out a reputable breeder! It was worth the investment hands down!

What a freaking year! Because honestly it’s hard to believe it’s actually been a whole year already. I never felt such exhaustion like I did with this litter, 24 hours with no sleep then whelping a litter followed by 24 more hours of no sleep, caring for my first special needs puppy all while packing up and moving houses. But a whole year later and all of these puppies are thriving, even Donut at a year old is still raising hell, the puppy a lot of people didn’t believe in, who thought she wouldn’t make it or even the people who thought she shouldn’t be allowed a shot at life. I gave it to her and she’s thriving, she’s happy and she’s loved. Happy First Birthday my Donut babies ❤️

I have 3 lined up breedings and not a single one of them will happen until I have a minimum of 4 people per waitlist requiring a 50% paid deposit to confirm seriousness. I’m seeking both co-owns, pet homes and I will be opening the opportunity for full rights only to the right people who share a similar goal as me in wanting to improve the breed.

Vesta X Bulbasaur (needs 4 waitlisted people)
Meena X Cowboy (needs 4 waitlisted people)
Ciri X Torque (needs 3 waitlisted people)

All of these dogs are health tested and all of these breedings are expected to range from pocket to classic. If you are interested in learning more about any of these dogs I can provide photos, health testing information, information on all the dogs temperaments and personalities as well as what these dogs have produced so far (aside from Ciri she’s a maiden).
