Due to continued issues with last minute cancellations and no call no shows, we will be instituting fees associated with each issue. It has been attempted in the past to do so, but we now will be making this firm. Emergency situations will be taken into consideration; i.e. severe sickness, going to the hospital for yourself or a loved one, or your pet needs immediate vet attention. Otherwise, this stands firm. This will be the case as well for multiple pets, not just one, it is for the ENTIRE missed appointment.
* Cancelations less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a 50% fee of the grooming ADDED to your next appointment.
* NO CALL NO SHOWS will be the full cost of the missed appointment ADDED to your next appointment. (Essentially double the price at the next booked appointment).
If we are given atleast 24 hours in advance, it gives us the ability to try and find a replacement for your appointment so as not to loose income for the day. However, when a no show happens, we are unable to find a replacement quickly enough that would not throw off our other appointment times the rest of the day. When self-employed, one only makes an income when people come to their appointments, there is no continual stream of income, we do not get sick time or PTO. We do not work, we do not get paid. It is as simple as that. This is our profession that pays to keep this business running and also keeps a roof over our heads, food on our tables and the lights and heat on at home, it is NOT just a hobby.
Please know, we do not like having to do this, but we also cannot continue to have these issues arising as it is severely hurting our bottom line.
