Championship lines, when buying a pure breed dog, be careful with that, every dog on the planet including the Heinz 57 mixed mutt has "championship" lines, depending on how far you trace back, if you're going to be paying top dollar for say a German Shepherd, you want the parents or at least the Grandparents to be titled, too many things can go wrong in between if the championships go back too far...

Boxer, Rottweiler and German Shepherd, the West German Shepherd to be precise, are the three breeds that over the years I've owned and trained to a level that I could use as examples to my customers for the purpose of demonstration, I show people my guys in action, on/off lead obedience and then show them how I did it, that sums up what I do....

My Rottweilers have been the easiest to work with, calm to a point that they were aloof compared to my Boxers who were, comparatively speaking "crazy" my German Shepherds were somewhere in the middle, my life would have been a lot easier had I used the Australian Shepherd or the Poodle, both breeds a breeze to train in obedience, same with the Golden/Labrador Retrievers, so many great breeds out there, love them all....

I've been asked about the "Serious Dog Training" part of my business logo, means just that, serious dog training, some have come to expect that dog training is a cute little puppy get together with their owners at a Pet Smarts type dog training class, I don't screw around "I train dogs".....

I have great respect for the Belgian Malinois, but, a little too intense for me, no off switch, my West German, GSD's can take care of business and they're so much easier to live with....
