Meet Molly!🥰 Molly is a sweet Cavachon who sees Dr. Melanie for a number of medical issues. Molly has issues with her mobility as well has high blood pressure and Cushing's disease. Acupuncture and laser therapy have been beneficial in improving Molly's energy level and her ability to move around the house more easily. Her favorite part is the treats. Fun fact about Molly is that she used to do agility. 😁

Meet Bern😍. Bern is a 7 year old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog who suffered from a herniated disc in his neck. Unfortunately, the location of Bern's herniated disc made surgery risky, so his owners reached out to Tranquil Paws for help. I am happy to report that Bern is much more comfortable after a few seasons of acupuncture and laser. He is off bed rest and feeling much more like himself. What a handsome guy! 🥰🐾

This is Dr. Melanie's dog Penny. She finished her 12th and final round of Chemotherapy last month. Acupuncture can be helpful aid in managing any side effects of chemotherapy. This includes nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and decreased appetite. Luckily, Penny had minimal side effects from her chemotherapy and is doing well!

I have only wonderful things to say about Dr. Falato and the service she provides. When we first contacted her, our older husky Jayne had been struggling with polyneuropathy and arthritis for many years. His hind legs were weak, he was incontinent, and his hips and shoulders were very painful. We had strongly considered euthanasia due to concerns about his quality of life, but we did not feel ready to let him go; we decided to try acupuncture to ease some of his pain and buy him a little more time with our family. From the very first moment, Dr. Falato was kind, professional, and treated our boy with the utmost care. She would bring yummy treats and calming music to the appointments. She earned his trust and he began to look forward to her visits! He was visibly happier and more mobile following many of his appointments, and we were able to make the most of the extra time with him. When we did decide it was the right time to say goodbye, we used an in-home euthanasia service and I believe Jayne felt no anxiety because the situation seemed familiar/similar to his acupuncture appointments. We had his bed set up in the same way, and he went right to it and laid down while we showered him with love and yummy treats; he had a very peaceful passing. Thank you Dr. Falato! We will forever be grateful for you and how you helped our boy!
